A Quote for the Ages: “Danged if I Know” (!)

“Danged if I know,” Susan Rice said, to audience laughter (laughter? Must have been an audience of Democrats.) Rice continued, “I mean honestly, the administration has produced, I think, 25,000 pages of documents.… It’s hard to imagine what further will come of yet another committee”. Fox News reported.

I thought that having a highly prized Ivy League education is what separated them, from all of us. After all in America, education is touted to young skulls of mush from almost the moment they pass thru the birth canal. One would think that someone possessing Suzies’ level of an edgama-kation would have a Rolodex in the mind, filled with highfalutin phrases to choose from. Danged?… Gee whiz!

Rice’s education reads like a who’s who of academia, which has served her well. Wikipedia reports that after a D.C prep school, Rice attended Stanford University, where she received a Truman Scholarship.

Then Rice was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship, Rice then attended New College, Oxford, where she earned a MPhil in 1988 and DPhil in 1990.

Suzie has just the kind of credentials one would expect from someone with her highly-paid coveted position. Rice is a former U.S. diplomat, former Brookings Institution fellow, and former United States Ambassador to the United Nations. Rice served on the staff of the National Security Council, and as Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs during President Bill Clinton’s second term. Blah blah blah.

Rice’s affiliations read like those of someone many years her senior. Could these be examples of token assignments? Possibly riding on the shirt tail of her Cornell University Professor father? Who by the way was a governor of the Federal Reserve System. Wikipedia reports: Susan Rice serves on the boards of several organizations, including the National Democratic Institute; the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, board of directors of the Atlantic Council; advisory board of Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford University, the board of directors of the Bureau of National Affairs, Inc. (Bloomberg BNA); board of directors of Partnership for Public Service; the Beauvoir National Cathedral Elementary School; and a past member of the Internews Network’s board of directors. She is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Aspen Strategy Group.

So what gives with the slang phrased, smart-ass comment? It certainly was beneath her pay-grade and educational level.
Makes one wonder, would such a remark had been made if the now dead Ambassador Stevens had been black? Would Hillary have said “What difference does it make? If Stevens had been black? Or if Stevens was black, would there have been a Benghazi in the first place? Would he have died at all? Maybe it’s the hate-whitey influence which is the motive behind her blatantly lackadaisical use of words.

Who would use such a phrase, or any other like its kind when talking about dead Americans? Her Freudian slip of the tongue, spilt the beans. Just goes to show that education and titles cannot buy one American loyalty, etiquette, class…or manners. Obviously all her accolades have produced quite the opposite. She has found her perfect place, inside Obama’s world.
