The United States of Everywhere

Yesterday a U.S. District Court judge in Tallahassee ruled that the State of Florida is within its rights to purge people who are not American citizens from its voter rolls. To the normal thinking person, it probably seems ridiculous that such a ruling is even necessary in the first place.

However, Florida’s opponent in this case is none other than Eric Holder’s U.S. Department of Justice, using the term ‘Justice’ with extreme prejudice. The Attorney General’s office is normally politicized during any presidential administration. In President Obama’s administration, it has been fashioned into a weapon with which to make open war on states’ rights and to systematically shred the fabric of what makes us a cohesive nation.

With the blessing and direction of his boss, Eric Holder’s department has attacked the state of Arizona through the courts over border enforcement, and when that challenge was overruled, then collaborated with the Department of Homeland Security (another term used with extreme prejudice) to reduce what little federal enforcement there was in Arizona. We have seen this president use an executive order to essentially declare all illegal aliens under the age of thirty to be exempt from deportment. We watched while this Justice Department bullied the Cambridge, Massachusetts police force over a non-racial flap in the Henry Louis Gates ‘civil rights’ scandal, while flagrantly ignoring the New Black Panther Party’s open intimidation of white voters with promises of physical violence and death if they dare to show up at the polls. Never mind voter fraud in areas where their activities or those of ACORN are prevalent.

Holder’s Justice Department has applied the president’s ‘catch and release’ policy to illegal aliens throughout the country, against the strenuous protests of municipalities whose social welfare and law enforcement resources are overwhelmed by the influx of illegals.

The attempted thwarting of Florida’s effort to purge its voter rolls of non-citizens is just the latest in this litany of blatant attempts by this administration to open U.S. elections to anybody and everybody. In order to secure reelection, Mr. Obama and his lackeys in the Justice Department have created a new class of voters who 1) aren’t citizens, 2) have no clear allegiance to anything American except the opportunity to use and abuse our economy and social services, and 3) may even potentially harm or kill us (terrorists taking advantage of lax border security). Most are only concerned with what they can extract from others, with no thought of any contribution on their own part.

The federal government has been attacking states who are attempting to uphold and enforce existing federal law. Welcome to President Obama’s United States of Everywhere.
