I’m new to this process so if I waver in one direction or another write it off to learning.
Saying that, I have read your Posting Policy and find it engaging and to point. Civil discourse is a fading art form giving way to ignorance and self adulation of the level of ignorance one has obtained. Gump said “stupid is as stupid dose” Could it be that he (the character not the actor) was actually right? It seems we are getting more stupid as the days go bye. I have only recently found your site and am looking forward to return visits on a daily basis.

Thank you for your effort to awaken the nation. It is clear with only minimum research and common sense anyone can fully realize Freedom itself is at risk. America’s foremost enemy is the majority of the American population that lives in the most comfortable frame of mind, denial. This is the greatest tool ever, readily available, to destroy nations from within.
Americans need to get past the nonsense that Islam is a Peaceful Religion. Islam is clearly a movement designed to conquer the turf wherever it resides, it has no desire to assimilate beyond the time required to dominate populations of unsuspecting fools. The proof has been established since the days of Mohammad; can anyone name a nation governed by Muslims that has a Constitution other than The Qur’an?

I think the message here is this…. As a Christian we forget that we are powerful people… we have the power of God behind us, and too many Christians are way to passive and meek. Jesus was bold and righteous.. and unafraid of Truth and his message… Christians and have been too tolerant and let the evil live right beside us, in our culture, in our schools and with the onset of homos…. in our churches rewriting God’s word…. There have been too many decades of telling of God’s love for us…. but not mentioning of God’s ultimate judgement. We have taken God’s love as a given…. and done nothing to show our obediance and love for God. Christians need to be assertive and confident and FIGHT BACK EVERYDAY AND EVERYWHERE. Speak out, write letters, witness, take you business elsewhere if a business practice is anit Christian… and let them know why. Turn the TV off, wrtie and call these stations that have programs that are pure filth along with the advertisers. Everyone needs to do their part. There is power in one voice… let your voice speak for Christ.

    It’s not about worshipping as we please. It is about worshipping the one and only true God, reading his word, and following him in obedience. Jesus may have said to turn the other cheek, but it was geared towards Christians who are being attacked by others. Read the bible, it is one and only truth.

Most Christians don’t hate Gays, but they will not have their lifestyle crammed down their throats, their church services invaded, and are against gay marriage because God created marriage, and it is intended to be between a man and a woman. Most Gays are anti-Christian, so it is interesting that they want to take part in marriage at all.   44rd11 Too many churches have diluted the messages of the Bible for fear of losing or offending congregants. Leveticus, Romans, Mathhew, Acts and 1 Corinthinians for starters, have specific life applications about “right living” to honor God. Christianity loses when believers fail to move boldly to protect His instructions. Believers love the sinner but hate the sin. If believers wimper in political correctness, our government will soon tell us how and when we can worship. Think it can’t happen–look to Europe and see the darkness; Scotland, Denmark to name a couple where the govt owns most of the churches.

  …scripture tells us that judgement always begins in the house of God, with that being, I just wanted to type out the solution said by God Himself in ll Chronicles 7:14………….” if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
  ….yes, this is what many followers of Jesus Christ do as habit and purpose, daily.
  ….for themselves and for you and for our America. Time and again throughout God’s Word we see cries of the people and their yearning for God to save them from all the oppression and horror they lived in….and then…. SUDDENLY….God moved and delivered them.
  A “suddenly” is coming for this nation. This is why we pray and try to live His way.
  
  Anything else is just man doing things his way. The outcome is always the same. Failure and greater oppression.
  Just simply doing things God’s way is liberating, refreshing, and leads to Life.

  The Apostle Paul would probably chase at least 30% of the Protestant preachers off of their pulpits, and make quick work of leaders of the Emergant Church, such as Brian McLaren, and Rob Bell (wasn’t he in the group called The Smashing Pumpkins?). I won’t even mention what he would say to the Pope. When you hear a Prosperity Preacher, all you have to is ask yourself: What would Peter and Paul say about this? Would Peter, who never was in Rome, accept the office ol Pope? As Americans,we have it easy as Christians, and those days are coming to an end, fast. We have allowed evil to takeover, and if we look to people like Joel Osteen for leadership, forget it. He will be one of the first to run, at the first sign of trouble. We need leaders like The Apostle Paul, bold and straight forward. Willing to suffer for the message of the Cross, and forget about showing up to church in a Rolls Royce.

No Liltrop, we are many, and we are awake. You waver not, your on it. God never said not to fight evil. When one studies history, he finds in fact, many times we have had to fight for our lives. And we may have to again. Waht yoiu are looking at , and seeing as stupid can be construed that way. Why don’t more Christians go into education and law and politics? We gave these areas over to the libs, and now look at the shape of our nation. Christian parents, why stop pushing your kids into stupid useless sports, and direct them into sectors where we can save our nation!

  To be quite simple. The church. Had the churches been involved in the lives of the youth and trained them up, things would be far different. But look where many of the churches have gone. Placing women in Pastoral authority (not scriptural), accepting not only homosexuality without repentance, but having homosexuals serve over the house of God. God does not change. Man changes God.
  One of the signs for end of times Christ gave was a falling away. Not a falling away in that Christ was crucified and rose again, but a falling away from the truth in God’s word. What is and has been an abomination before God, churches have not only turned a blind eye, but have accepted sin to thrive within itself. If a man sins and his sin is brought before him and he does not repent he is to be cast out from among the believers.

    Don, your message presents you as a righteous man, but, you’re a little bit off. Man doesn’t change God–he merely distorts God’s message. The problem here is that most churches are more interested in maintaining their tax-free status than they are in speaking the truth. When churches reject the 501c status, and defiantly start filing returns and paying taxes (rendering unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s), they will again be free to truly preach the word of God…

      Lumpy logic. ISSUE A: When Don says, “God does not change. Man changes God,” he means that is the effect of the apostasies in the modern church. He does NOT mean that’s the way it OUGHT to be. ISSUE B: First, the church is a communal effort. Paying taxes would equate to double taxation of the members. Second, the power to tax is the power to control. Paying taxes would be a surrender to government control. Third, the head of the church is not Caesar, it is Jesus Christ. The inferior is subject to the superior, so dumping 501c status makes churches inferior to the government, again subjecting them to government control.

God meets us where we are. Homosexuals, fornicators, all types of thiefs liars and sinners. We all need Christ and have to admit our sins and wrongdoing repent and follow Christ. I really pray for this country. How can we sit in a pew on Sundays and think that marriage between a man and a man is the same thing as marriage between a man and a woman. Or that it is my body and I can do with it what I want. Murder in the womb is still murder. Jesus died for the sinner. How can one be forgiven if they believe nothing they do is a sin.

The key to true spirituality is love. Paul tells us that in the end, Faith, Hope
and Love will be the only things that last. And the greatest of these is Love. A
true preacher loves God and loves people. And the plain fact is that many are
called and many people are preaching. It was a woman — Mother Theresa– who
brought the love of Christ to the dying poor in India. She did not preach in the
“semantic sense.” But she brought the love of Christ. So far, no man has taken
up the cross to take care of these poor. Perhaps there are places where men
–like Barak– refuse to go. If that is so, then God will use women. Anyway, at
this point in history –the endtimes when we are all called to share the
gospel– it seems kind of stupid to forbid women from publishing the Word of
God. Even stupider for women to give up ministries they might have created
simply because they have the wrong sexual organs. I therefore say: Let the man
or woman of love and discernment preach! And forbid them not.
(These are words I found, not words I came up with, however, it hits the point). Do I think churches are fat, lazy, amoral? Sure. But Don L has it a little bit wrong when he lumps women in ‘pastoral authority’ as wrong. The Bible is the Word of God handed down for generations, but (don’t get all fired up) was written in a different culture. Don L – how do you worship? Where do you worship? Is it EXACTLY like 1st century? ‘course not. You have a church building (not a house church), air conditioning (car, home, church), electricity, etc. We are in a different culture. Do the women in your church cover their heads? Homosexuality is an abomination to God, for sure, and marriage was designed by God – man and woman. Anything else is unnatural. As stated in above, I don’t see any man takingup Mother Theresa’s work. Faith, Hope, Love – Love lasts. God’s Grace is not just for you, Don, but for ALL. Somehow we get all worked up (like Doug) and WE FORGET GOD’S GRACE – HIS LOVE! Get out of your damn pew and in the streets if you want to make a difference and turn the USA around. Thank you.

  There are many men doing Mother Theresa’s work – look a bit harder. Women are not like the star-trek enterprize, willing to go where no man has been before. How insulting to men, with all your talk about love! Further, there are many women with “ministries”. I was taught Christianity by many blessed women (like Mother Theresa). Holiness is open to everyone! Yes, the women in my church cover their heads….the men wear ties. No one wears flip flops or shorts even though our church building does not have air conditioning. What is the point? People are people….all of us have all the opportunity that God has granted to each of us to do His will. Once there are a poor young girl in a place where women were unable to hold positions of authority, but owing to her dedication to God and His Holy Will, she became the mother of God, the mother of the Church, the Queen of Heaven and now leads the followers of her Son and His angels in the final battle against the evil one, his son, and his minions. She will prevail! What more does God have to do to show you the open door? Everyone has the right and responsibility to share the Love of God and His Holy Word (His Son!). If that is what you mean by “preaching’, then your need is met. Sounds like you have a different mission than service to God – sounds like a bit of power hunger and pride may be diluting your message….if it is Love…..please reflect….I pray that Almighty God Bless you with a most fruitful harvest….

    I was all behind you until you introduced the fourth person of the “quadrinity” of God. Sorry, lady, but the Bible states Mary’s role and that was the end of it. Mary will not lead squawt in any battle. Jesus Christ is the emphasis not the Catholic fantasy of Mary as divine and leading charges. She was a great woman, but her role is limited to that which the Bible states.
    Mankind’s problems started with a woman (Eve) who suggested that her man listen to her and not God (Eat the apple. God has it wrong, the apple is good and according to this slimy little reptile, we won’t die.). Abraham’s wife suggested he sleep with her handmaiden to produce the promised son. The end result of that was the corrupted “gospel” of Islam – 16 centuries of slaughter, rape, torture, mayhem, broken treaties, lies, and enslavement.
    God is a triune God – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. To its shame, the male sex has abdicated much of its responsibilty over time. Part of the solution is for the men to once again become godly and responsible men. When everyone fulfills their God-given role (including women), the machine will once again run as it was intended.

God’s arms never open so wide as they do for a sinner. To be a practicing homosexual and not repent and amend your life keeps you a sinner.
Of all bodily desires and needs, sex is the only one over which you have any control. I do believe if a homosexual follows God’s word – since that person’s cross is much heavier to bear than mine, he will have earned and will receive a higher place in heaven.

  The terms “homosexual ..God’s word”, and “earned..receive a …. place in heaven” are wrong on two counts: First, if a person is not a PRACTICING homosexual, he is not a homosexual since he is not participating in deviant sex. Unless that practice is kept in mind and thought of as if reality. One who was and refrains from, or one who is tempted but refrains from…. is not a homosexual.
  Second, it is not possible to “earn” a place in Heaven, which is being in the presence of God. One can only achieve Heaven through the acceptance of, and following, the Son, Jesus. You can look it up. New Testament. Where Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and …….”

    I know much of what Jesus spoke – “Cf. Ps 33 (32):18-19 Behold, the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear Him, who hope in His merciful love, to rescue their souls from death…….” Many are called but few are chosen,…….death, judgment, heaven, hell shall prevail on the last day. (I do realize some religions do not believe in hell – and other religions believe if you are baptized, with no further contact w/Jesus, God, you are going to heaven).
    So you DO have to earn a place in heaven -; if you believe in Jesus all your life, then become an atheist and reject Him, you are not going to heaven. “Nobody gets to the Father except through Me”…….

Time to read ‘Boys Club’ by Geo.Kocan, Windswept House by Malachy Martin and The Parish Priests books of Fr.Greeley, the latter two priests who were marginalized for what they knew and wrote about the Church and you can add ‘Vocations’ to that list of ‘Why don’t they become’. It is much, much more that is going on in the Church agenda than just keeping their tax exemption, when the Leadership is appearing at the UN and giving a stamp of approval to the New World Order with a View toward a One World Church, but the abosolute power = absolute corruption goes far beyond even the greed of power.

Most of today’s churches are apostate, meaning they have left the Christ of the Bible and are applying “situational ethics”, “group salvation” and “social justice” to their teachings. RUN AWAY when you hear those phrases. I was heartbroken when I read that the United Methodist Church was left leaning. I will no longer support it for a portion of any money recieved feeds the beast that I fight politically.
