There are questions today as to why the two biggest news wires in the country, the Associated Press and Reuters, chose to send out the photo below of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the United Nations Thursday.
The photo shows Netanyahu raising his left arm in a gesture that some have suggested is uncomfortably similar to the infamous salute of Adolf Hitler. The photos, of course, just capture a moment in time as Netanyahu was gesturing from behind the podium.
The head of the Anti-Defamation League is now blasting the two wire services, calling the photos “ugly,” “disgusting,” and “offensive.”
