Katie Pavlich- UPDATE: The number of people who have taken the CNBC poll has doubled, bringing those who agree with Romney’s comments to 76 percent.

As the faux outrage over Mitt Romney’s “47%” comments continue to barrel through the airwaves of the old media, a CNBC poll shows 75 percent of voters believe Mitt Romney was right when he said Obama supporters will vote for him no matter what due to dependence on the government.

No, the poll isn’t scientific, but it is an indication of the media running with a narrative opposite of what the country actually believes…again.

Holy crap!! A politician actually spoke the truth what an outrage! The press and pundits are PC loons for their faux outrage over his statements. With a75% approval over his statements, it seems that a good portion of the 47% agree as well. I think Obama will lose in a landslide.

No disrespect intended, but I agree with his comments, not necessarily the delivery. I feel that many people may take offense more from emotional standpoint because 47% of us are either unemployed, underemployed, or on some form of government aid. I feel that the welfare programs are in much need of reform and that they do not adequately allow for short term use via training and re-employment programs . We all know that there are people on the system that abuse it .. are taught by generation to abuse the system, across many different people as it does not discriminate there my friends. There are many people who are unable to get the aide they need because they do not understand the system.. The point is that reform is needed and a strong economy is needed to put americans to work so they are not reliant upon the systems for extended periods of time.
