Romney is NOT the only choice. For God-fearing, Reagan conservatives who are truly pro-life; for those who believe in America’s exceptionalism, foreign policy which rewards our allies and doesn’t apoligize for America and negotiates from a position of strength, for responsible and moral fiscal policy. I am voting for Tom Hoefling for president, nominated by America’s party. He is all I have mentioned above that conservatives are looking for in a candidate. For Catholics and all Christians who claim Jesus as Lord Hoefling is the best choice because he stands for godly policy consistent with our faith and which have made this nation the greatest and most prosperous on earth. It is about time that orthodox Christian communities reject intrisic evil, which is the only way to accurately characterize an administration that holds abortion and same sex marriage, and limits on religious freedom as a cornor stone of it’s platform.
There are many, many serious issues on the table and we can we discard the need to aggresively take steps to shore up our economy, international policies, heathcare, protecting social security and medicare. Our country has reached atipping point and we need to revise policies associated with immigration and the tax code, but none of these things, take presidence over the most fundamental need to protect our most innocent and weakest American citizens. Nothing can take presidence over protecting the family, else how do we replace ourselves, and nothing can precede the right to worship in a way that is consistent with our religious tradition.
I am encouraged that these folks have taken a stand . We can no longer rely on isolated voices of the clergy. Lay people had better find their voices to lock arms with others to speak loud and long.
