Oddsmaker-”Obama Will Lose in a Landslide”

Most political predictions are made by biased pollsters, pundits, or prognosticators who are either rooting for Republicans or Democrats. I am neither. I am a former Libertarian Vice Presidential nominee, and a well-known Vegas oddsmaker with one of the most accurate records of predicting political races.

Neither Obama nor Romney are my horses in the race. I believe both Republicans and Democrats have destroyed the U.S. economy and brought us to the edge of economic disaster. My vote will go to Libertarian Presidential candidate Gary Johnson in November, whom I believe has the most fiscally conservative track record of any Governor in modern U.S. political history. Without the bold spending cuts of a Gary Johnson or Ron Paul, I don’t believe it’s possible to turnaround America.

But as an oddsmaker with a pretty remarkable track record of picking political races, I play no favorites. I simply use common sense to call them as I see them.

Back in late December I released my New Years Predictions. I predicted back then- before a single GOP primary had been held, with Romney trailing for months to almost every GOP competitor from Rick Perry to Herman Cain to Newt- that Romney would easily rout his competition to win the GOP nomination by a landslide. I also predicted that the Presidential race between Obama and Romney would be very close until election day. But that on election day Romney would win by a landslide similar to Reagan-Carter in 1980.

Understanding history, today I am even more convinced of a resounding Romney victory. 32 years ago at this moment in time, Reagan was losing by 9 points to Carter. Romney is right now running even in polls. So why do most pollsters give Obama the edge?

First, most pollsters are missing one ingredient- common sense. Here is my gut instinct. Not one American who voted for McCain 4 years ago will switch to Obama. Not one in all the land. But many millions of people who voted for an unknown Obama 4 years ago are angry, disillusioned, turned off, or scared about the future. Voters know Obama now- and that is a bad harbinger.

Obama is a Muslim – he said so in an interview with George Stephanopolus in 2008, he bowed to the Saudi King (who paid for his Harvard education), he was born a Muslim, raised by a Muslim stepfather, went to a Muslim school in Indonesia, he supports the takeover of Egypt and many other Middle Eastern countries by the Muslim Brotherhood (a terrorist group with roots going back to WWII when they worked closely with Adolf Hitler), he refused to meet with Netanyahu but had time for Letterman and The View, and just yesterday in front of the UN he said “the future should not belong to those who slander the name of the prophet of Islam”. I agree as a former Female Democrat, I am supporting Romney and the entire Republican ticket! What is confusing me about this article is why the writer (odds maker) predicts Romney will win, why is he trowing his vote to Johnson?

  He’s voting for Johnson because he’s voting with his conscience. The problem with people when they vote is they want to be on the winning team, Nobody looks at a candidates stance on issues. Me personally I am voting for Johnson because for what he stands for,not because I want to be on the winning team. I personally want this country ran by the Constitution & Bill of Rights and neither Demoncrat or Repucklican is going to do that. The people in this country need to wake up and quit walking locking step with the party line.

      Not only will it be wasted, but you will be helping to re-elect the man and machine that will move this country in the total opposite direction of where you and Johnson know it should be. Will Romney get you to where you want to go? Part of the way, yes! All of the way, No! But you must know that obama is diametrically OPPOSED to the US Constitution and will try everything in his power to change and circumvent it.
      
      Your vote for Jonhson may serve your conscience nicely, and be a vote for valor, but it will also subvert the country we love and that many of us have fought for.

  Meg Brt, that is what I am thinking. I will tell him right now, that IF this country can be turned around, I pray to God it can be, Romney IS the man that can do it. I know this with all my heart, and I have a Big one. If people will open their hearts and minds, and give him the chance, we will start seeing us back in the right direction. It will not be an overnight job, because we have sat back and let our country go to pot. I am praying for a Romney/Ryan win, and we will turn back to what this country is meant to be. I kniow this for sure.

  Well, former female Dem voter, believe it or not, some people are actually ‘principled.’ The vote in what they believe in, unlike others that vote on the promise they will be rewarded for their vote (e.g., amnesty; entitlements; free contraceptives.) Mr. Johnson did say that both parties were/are responsible for the current financial quandary, Which, to some extent, is correct. So he doesn’t favor either one. He also thinks Romney is not conservative enough, for which I agree. I will vote for Romney, not because I BELIEVE he is good, but because I KNOW obama will destroy my Country.

I pray he is correct as I would hope there are more of us free marketers than free loaders. Obama was schooled in Muslim schools, hence the reason for him saying he had been to almost all 57 states when he was campaigning the first time. There are 57 Muslim states! Romney is a very successful businessman who has experience in turning around failing endeavers. His success rate is 80% and I will take my chance on him rather than someone who just talks (or reads). Paul Ryan knows the legislative so they make a good team. GO ROMNEY RYAN.

A vote for Johnson is a vote for Obama because we need every Republican vote we can get. Every person that would have voted for Romney that sits at home and doesn’t vote is a vote for Obama. Good grief! This isn’t a vote for those you think have your personal values – although all elections should be. This is about our country and whether we keep it or lose it. Voting for Johnson has the same effect as when I voted for Perot. It ends up being one less vote against O’bama and a missing vote for Romney to defeat O’bama. Barry would love to see more of you doing that. Sorry, been there and done that, not going to do it again.

I voted twice for Gov. Gary Johnson and I never ever regreted my vote. He was one of the best Governors New Mexico has ever had. However, he can’t win for president. Sure, there may be better people to be President than Mitt Romney, but there are no better candidates, at this time, running against Barak Obama that have the chance of beating Obama in the up coming election. Therefore we all have to pull together and collectively vote to seat Mitt Romney as our next President and get rid of the Muslim Prick that now occupies the White House.
I too, think that Romney will win by a LANDSLIDE, however, we have to be ever vigilant of the Democrats ability to CHEAT, BULLY, COERCE, AND VOTE THE CEMETERIES.
I think Obama has alienated enough people in his own party to make a BIG difference in this election, Not to speak of the people that usually don’t care enought to vote that will turn out to see that he is NOT re-elected.
So many people were so excited about electing the first BLACK to be President, that they forgot to look at what Obama stood for, his views, his background and forgot to dig deep enough to uncover any facts about his shady dealings and lack of any experience. He was a smooth talker, just like Adolph Hitler, or any number of those Bible Thumpers that have absconded with the collection plates.
We can do better than Obama and we will do better by electing a Republican Majority in both houses and the White House in the next election.

If you are voting for Gary Johnson or writing in Ron Paul just to prove the two party system is broke and needs fixing then you are being totally unfaithful to this country.
