Wuss Alert: U.S. Embassy in Cairo Says “They’re Sorry People Hurt Muslims’ Feelings.”

The U.S. embassy in Cairo released the following statement:

The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others

The statement comes after a mob of Egyptians climbed the walls of the embassy and tore down the American flag. Reuters reports:

Egyptian protesters scaled the walls of the U.S. embassy in Cairo on Tuesday and pulled down the American flag during a protest over what they said was a film being produced in the United States that insulted Prophet Mohammad, witnesses said.
In place of the U.S. flag, the protesters tried to raise a black flag with the words “There is no God but Allah and Mohammad is his messenger”, a Reuters reporter said.

Once the U.S. flag was hauled down, protesters tore it up, with some showing off small pieces to television cameras. Then others burned remains.

“This movie must be banned immediately and an apology should be made … This is a disgrace,” said 19-year-old, Ismail Mahmoud, a member of the so-called “ultras” soccer supporters who played a big role in the uprising that brought down Hosni Mubarak last year.

America should do the following in the Middleeast. Give all Muslim Countries six months to bring to justice and eliminate their Radical communities. If that means wiping out tribes, so be it. After the deadline, any aggression or terrorist actions from these Muslim countries will suffer the consequences in the form of leveling their country to look like a parking lot.   How about the US pack up all Americans in middle eastern countries, gather up all the billions of dollars we have given them, bring everything and everybody home. That includes all military personnel, equipment, etc., and let them fend for themselves. They will eventually solve their own problems, or not, and we will save all that money we have been sending over there. Next step, kick the UN out of our country for good, stay home and take care of our own massive problems. How many other countries have ever come to the aid of America???
  And we could go on from there and quit supporting the rest of the world with our “yankee dollahs”, food supplies, etc., that seem to never reach the people they are intended for, but somehow end up in the cofffers of the elite leaders of these poor countries.
  After that, if a country needs aid from the US, they can apply for it, figure out a repayment plan where the US will be repaid, and if payment is not received, then stop sending aid. It’s time the rest of the world, especially the 3d world dictatorships, learn to take care of their own problems.

The fact that the apology was posted before the attack makes me wonder. I’m sure they have informers and probably were notified a protest was in the works, probably tied to the killing of USB. Would they not have told the WH? Would the WH not have leapt into crisis management mode? Was the posting their way of protecting BHO from blame? Take the lead. Shift the reason for the attack away from BHO’s boasts — which must really rub the muslims raw — to a harmless film.

  I, for one, had never even heard of this movie, so I’m wondering how those radical idiots learned of it. Anybody know? There had to be someone out there feeding this frenzy, and I could guess, but…. So, the US condemns hurting the religious feelings of others? Since when? When Gov. Boggs of Missouri issued a extermination order on the Mormons (Missouri Executive Order 44) on 10/27/1838, that wasn’t rescinded for 138 years by Gov. Christopher Bond, who stated that the order violated constitutional rights, and apologized for the state. Guess what…Boggs was a Democrat. Are we not surprised? Even when the Mormons go to great lengths to answer questions from the media, the answers are skewed, maligned, and made fun of. Groups put up stupid billboards, but the Mormons aren’t biting. They’re not tearing down embassies, either, and they certainly won’t. The point of this post is to show that our current leader merely is sorry that Islam’s feelings are hurt, but he has no compunction against tearing into the beliefs of other religions.     It wasn’t anything highly advertised but Islamists have a 3rd eye that misses nothing and if it insults Islam, Mohammed, the Qur’an or allah, somebody is going to pay. Years ago,a cartoonist in a Scandanavian country, drew a cartoon portraying Mohammed and the Islamists killed people for weeks; when Rev. Terry (last year) in Gainesville, FL, threatened to burn the Qur’an it was international news and he was interviewed by some TV station with 2 Black Panthers, armed with automaitc rifles, at the reporters side. Soon afterwards, in Afghanistan, Pakistan or wherever in the mid-east Islamists burned hundreds and hundreds of Bibles and murdered 7 US soldiers who were taking a break in some small town. Obama did nothing. Obama is doing the absolute minimum about the recent murders.
    The media will skew anythng that isn’t liberal and left wing – such as Catholics, Mormons, Jews etc…….only thing holding any value in this administration are Islamists and the GLBT gourps.
    It’s totally OK if Islamists call Judeo Christians every vile name in the book, build mosques on their sacred lands but Obama has issued the ‘hate crime law that is supposed to apply to everyone but protects only Islamists. Muslims/Islamists have taken over and totally destroyed much of western Europe, England and Scandanavia and they cannot get ride of them however much they want to – 9/10ths are on welfare and bleeding these countries dry.       Mohammed’s mistakes:
      There is a part of Islam that is called “abrogation”. This says that any of the so called messages relayed to Mohammed that contradict earlier messages from Allah, negate the earlier messages. So who screwed up? If Allah is all knowing and perfect then Mohammed must have made a mistake and was later corrected by Allah. Looking at this logically; did he make other mistakes that were not corrected or did he screw up even the corrections from Allah and get them wrong also? Just asking!

Their Caliphate blood line control still exists in Saudi royalty. Saudi royalty are the second biggest owner of News Corp, parent to Fox.
      Why should they stop now? When their numbers reach 5% of the population of any geographical area their intimidation becomes undeniable. Does intimidation and taxation from the white house today seem even vaguely or suspiciously representative of the Wahhabi trained mouthpiece and staff of 74 residing there? Does the flood of constitutional override in executive orders and the railroading and blocking of legislation not sound the same alarm for invasion spread by Paul Revere?
      If the invasion has already saturated the executive branch, international diplomacy and top levels of the military what more is required for its congressional recognition. Do they need another excuse to make your day?

The movie was and is an excuse not a reason. These attacks were planned not spontaneous as some in government would have us believe. Furthermore, Romney is absolutely correct in his statement. America must never apologize for those liberties we still have left including free speech. An apology made by the embassy is in essence an apology from this administration. In any manner of speaking it is representative of this administration and considered “from” this administration.

No reasonable person in America desires other nations or people to fear the United States of America, but we should demand the show of respect from all. It should be obvious to all we are not respected as a nation at this time just as we were not respected during Jimmy Carter’s reign of weakness. Only this time it is much worse. If you really want to understand Islam and the prophet Mohammad, read Lewis’ “God’s Crucible” (either at your local library or Amazon.com) The author is clearly liberal in his premise that Islam influenced the rise of European unity. Read what he tells his readers about the prophet, and his three wives–one of them who was 6 years old. Other authors, and other books, all say the same thing. Also read the Koran. You will come to realize what our civilization and that of the world is up against. These are not radicals. Most mainstream Muslims support what is happening in the name of Allah, the merciful god. It is a religious war contrary to what the mainstream media tells you (and they deceitfully tell you). They have no tolerance of other religions. They are literally crucifying the Christian Coptics in Egypt. There is but one god, Allah, and one prophet, Mohammed–all others are unbelievers and therefore enemies of Islam.
