35 Reasons You’re an Idiot if You Don’t Vote for Romney

If you’re planning not to vote because your presidential candidate didn’t win the primary or because you feel disenfranchised with our two party political system, not only is that the greatest insult to every man and woman who ever died to give us the freedom to vote, it’s actually a vote for Barack Hussein Obama! So before you decide to sit this one out, you need to ask yourself the following questions:

Do you want . . .

A president who has us on the road to serfdom?
A president who advocates higher taxes? Wealth redistribution, less freedom and less opportunity?
A president coated in Teflon who freely gets away as an accomplice to the murdering of innocent Americans?
A president who circumvents the constitution, but bows to Saudi kings?
A president who nationalizes sectors of our free market economy and single handedly picks winners and losers?
A president who forces you to buy goods and services you don’t want and then fines you for not following his orders?
A president who is systematically bankrupting our country while giving away tens of billions of dollars to our enemies abroad?
A president who, for the first time in American history, is robbing your children and grand children of the same freedoms, opportunities and dreams that were handed down to you and me?
A president who does not believe in the supremacy and exceptionalism of the United States of America?
A president who despises our military so much that he jeopardizes our national security by cutting their budget in half?
A president who is about to foist the single biggest tax increase on the American people in the 237-year history of our country come January 1st?
A president whose political ideology takes delight in a record 47 million Americans now on food stamps?
A president who invests tens of billions of dollars in failing green companies that are headed by some of his biggest campaign donors?
A president who refuses to approve a desperately needed oil pipeline that would help put many Americans to work while decreasing our dependence on foreign oil?
A president who usurps the Constitution, ignores the separation of powers, thumbs his nose at congress and issues executive orders with impunity?
A president with deeply rooted ties to domestic terrorists and radical Muslims and Marxists?
A president whose upbringing was heavily influenced by radical Communists and Socialists?
A president who appoints members of the radical Muslim Brotherhood to his cabinet?
A president who shuns the leader of Israel, our only democratic ally in the Middle East, in favor of appearances on celebrity T.V. talk shows?
A president who makes back door deals with leaders of Communist countries conditioned upon his reelection?

        There are 2 candidates that have a chance to win, and a few dozen that aren’t even on the board. As a former 3rd party voter, I really got tired of my vote never showing up except in the “others” column. In 92, I voted for ross Perot, and that’s when I woke up. He got almost 20% of the vote, all taken from Bush, and we wound up with Clinton. Thats when I realized that I’d wasted my vote but was very proud of my principles. So, do as I did, spend your vote on someone who won’t even come close, take it from someone who’s miles ahead of obozo, but you can walk into the poor house a very proud man. Broke, but proud.

        VT thanks for your comments. Actually it’s not an issue of pride. What does one call it when you are called an idiot because you don’t see things from their perspective? That’s exactly what this article just did. I’d say that’s pretty prideful. I simply said I would vote for freedom. It is my vote, it actually goes in the column of the guy I vote for and doesn’t magically appear in someone else’s column. Did you ever stop to think that the votes that are being thrown away are the ones given to the guys at the top of the two major parties? No one ever brings that up. I wonder why? Reality is that we were nearly $10 trillion in debt after Bush, Clinton, Bush the first and Reagan. That’s three Republicans guys and one Democrat. I’m not saying Obama hasn’t had his share too, but the Republicans have allowed deficit spending to go on now for three years in the House. They approved it and it got spent. Interestingly enough Mr. Ryan is culpible in this spending though he is touted as fiscally conservative. His proposed budget didn’t balance for nearly 30 years, if then.
        
        Again while there are small differences, when it comes to dying in a car going off a cliff at 100 mph or 75 mph does it really matter?

        worst person from being elected—and doing even more harm. This is a good moral choice.
        You’re voting for some good positions—a morally good choice.
        You’re voting for more than just that position. For example, a Governor
        will appoint over 300 judges, commissioners and other important
        positions. The candidate most aligned to your values will appoint more
        people who are acceptable. Other tightly contested races have other
        important, although indirect, short- and long-term consequences.
        
        A vote for a third party canidate is a vote for BOb and you are
        indirectly voting for evil.
        Remember the words often uttered by BO “I and planned parenthood will not yield” Translation= my (BO’s) religion of death will be evengelized world wide and paid for with billions (1,000,000,000,00′s) of your tax $. A vote for Romney is a vote against this evil. A vote for a third party canidate (Roseanne Barr? what a moral choice that is!) is a vote for Obummer.

      Tim, there is never going to be a perfect candidate, or human being. We can all look at, and cast stones at Romney’s tenure as MA governor…however, this is only one small part of the man’s resume, character, charity. Even Reagan pulled us out of Lebanon when our Marines got killed, and opened the door to the slaughter and displacement of the Phelangist Christians, and signed the May 1986 machine gun ban. But, he also caused the fall of the Soviet colossus and freed millions, rebuilt our economy, and gave us hope again.

        So who, exactly, is the credible, electable choice compared to the “Faustian” bargain before us? Tim, just asking…typically I agree with you 99% of the time, but this time, voting for Dr. Paul or Mr. Johnson is not going to preclude Obama from being re-elected. This isn’t really a debatable issue, it is the nature of our GOP and Demoncrat system, and political battles tend to be incremental, over time. We can talk about idealism until the cows come home or jump over the moon, but the reality on the ground looks pretty different. We have had nearly 50 years since LBJs Great Society to undo, and it isn’t going to happen under one or two election cycles.
        
        Elsewhere on Clash Daily, there is a story about the likely Supreme Court nominees either victor will present to the Senate. Do you think there is no difference between the juris “prudence” of an Obama nominee compared to a Romney one?

        David, people always bring up the Supreme Court justices as though this is the most important issue failing to realize that they are a branch of three and that their ruling can be challenged by one or both the legislative or executive branch. We fail to realize it was conservatives who gave us Roe v Wade. we fail to realize a conservative judge gave us the Obamacare ruling and was a Bush appointee. That line of thinking hasn’t helped us very much.

        For most in the GOP their vote for Romney is not so much FOR Romney, but AGAINST Obama. That is the same mentality of 08 on the Democrat side, “Anybody but Bush.” Again, no thank you. We’ve been voting like this for decades and it really has not helped our liberties or our economy.
        
        I really believe the issue is we have turned so far from God, that even the Church has come to embrace a Mormon for President and views Mormonism as Christian. That is the biggest issue I see and the deception is widespread to the point that even leaders within the Christian community who taught and wrote about the law of God in society and putting only Christians in positions of authority are now buckling out of fear, not faith in God and voting for Romney.

  Tim … I’m usually right behind you, WRT your posts. But, I’ve gotta disagree with you here. I see an enormous difference between Romney and Obama. I think a Romney / Paul ticket is just what the doctor ordered to pull our economy out of the doldrums. Beyond that, Romney will is far more conservative, more likely to follow the constitution and won’t be looking to buy votes by redistributing wealth. He’ll be less Muslim friendly and more likely to put us on the path to producing our own petroleum products – rather than buying them from our enemies. I (too) am a Libertarian at heart. But, our choice in November is between a businessman with a good head on his shoulders and the AntiChrist. Easy choice, for me.

        trust me, I’m so much of a believer in Jesus Christ, I desire that the government would actually follow the law of God.       Time, I agree with you. I know that the definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. The Republicans are the same as the Democrats, just not as in your face. They all believe in bigger government and less liberty, and my vote belongs to me, not a party. I know that Obama is destroying this country but I also know that Romney will continue to erode our Constitution and liberties, so I cannot vote for either. Romney isn’t perfect, but he’s a step back away from the cliff. The salvation of this country is NOT only and solely the outcome of this election. It’s going to be a process and a series of battles and of long duration. Yes we need to win this one, but as soon as we do we have to get busy electing constitutional/freedom – minded people to the congress and to local and state positions. After all, the ultimate solution is from the ground up. Fill the pipeline with the kind of people we really need and want and they will be the ones available to pick from for president later on. In the meantime, life at the state and local levels will be improved.

Well, I’m not voting for Romney, and I think anyone who does really needs to step back and consider what’s been going on in our country. If you think the Republicans are dedicated to fix what’s broken with America (or even capable of it) then you don’t understand what happened in the Bush administration. The fact is, both the Democratic and Republican parties are just two sides of the same New World Order coin. At the first debate Romney pointed that out. Romney wants to improve healthcare options in America, NOT reduce them or make them worse. He wants STATES to decide for themselves and that is what he did in Mass. He wants to open up the lines of competition between states as well, this will let the free market work it out and that is the correct process. We The People are the FREE market rule makers, that is how it is supposed to be. It is one thing to do a state thing but a whole other ball of wax to MANDATE an entire Nation and put the federal government in charge of it. If you think that Romney won’t impose a great deal of these policies stated above, you are seriously mistaken. As governer of Massachusetts, Romney, through executive fiat imposed gay marriage on the state without the consent of the government and without any lawful compulsion to do so. Secondly, he imposed a 50 dollar co-pay on abortions as well as impose mandatory healthcare creating financial hardship on the already burdened taxpayers in Massachusetts. The first point has created a moral malaise in the Commonwealth which I have witnessed first-hand after living there for two and a half years. It has also contributed to the overregulated economy which does nothing to keep poor people from moving up the financial ladder, rather it keeps poor people even more dependent on state and federal government assistance not to mention eroding their dignity as human beings. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan repeat the Republican fable that they can balance the budget and promote economic growth by cutting taxes for the wealthy so “trickle down” job creating investments will be made. However, if America needed investment capital as claimed then Romney and other plutocrats should repatriate hundreds of millions they have in offshore bank accounts.

But Romney and others in the global elite do what’s in the best interest of profit, not America. In fact, Romney exposed the disdain he has for many of his fellow Americans in a speech at a Boca Raton $50,000 per plate fundraiser when he put into words what most plutocrats seem to think when he said “Forty-seven percent of Americans pay no income tax… who believe that they are victims… who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it… And the government should give it to them.”

However, facts shows most of the 47 percent non–taxpayers are created by wage suppression and vulture capitalists like Romney and Bain Capital; and that other private equity companies are destroying thousands of American jobs daily with leveraged buyouts and offshoring jobs to Asia.

Bain Capital is closing Sensata Technologies in Freeburg, IL, and transferring the high–paying jobs to a new plant they built in China, and importing Chinese employees to be trained by American workers on the equipment being sent there.

Bain invested $8 million to gain majority interest in GST Steel of Kansas City; after which Bain borrowed money to pay themselves dividends and for other reasons. The company eventually declared bankruptcy in 2001 but a 1/6/2012 Reuters article reported that “Bain profited on the (GST) deal, receiving $12 million on its $8 million initial investment and at least $4.5 million in consulting fees.”

Romney says Bain helped create Staples, Sports Authority, and Domino’s Pizza; but http://www.glassdoor.com, which allows workers to post their salaries anonymously, shows the average sales associate at any of the three companies makes around $9 an hour. Thus, Romney and Bain helped create the 47 percent non–taxpayers he insults.

If this election’s just about the last four years, that’s a muddy verdict. Bush was president during the financial meltdown. The Obama team has turned that around pretty well.” And that “the Clinton speech at the convention was very important in that way. How horrible it was four years ago.”

There is substantiated proof Obama is not qualified to be president, his birth certificate he placed on the official white house web site is a fraud, he has kept his past a secret and boasted about being a “college professor” without showing proof. There is more evidence that proves he was not born in in the US than disproves. That being said, where is the press that forced a president to resign after “covering up” a break in and excelled the press as the “people’s watchdog?” This president has committed more “high crimes and misdemeanors” than all the presidents before him.
