Some people will say that the Denver debate changed their vote from Obama to Romney. But I am not among them. My vote was changed from going-to-sit-this-one-out to Romney. But it did not take a 90-minute debate to do it. It only took one line. He didn’t have me at “hello.” He got me when he scolded a boyish eye-contact-avoiding president for over-spending. Specifically, he got me when he looked right at Obama and characterized the current spending problem as “immoral.”

It was a home run. And it cut right to the heart of the nature of our spending problem. It is more than just a spending problem. It is a moral problem. To fail to grasp the depth of the moral deficit that makes possible our fiscal deficit is to misjudge the American political landscape altogether. It is to misapprehend the nature of the American constitutional experiment altogether.

I was going to vote for Romney before the debate, because all the things I heard about him were things that this man I would invite into my home and become friends with.He has done so many charitable things for people anonymously. He isn’t like Obama where all you hear is “I”. But at the debate, I thought Obama was totally disrespectful. He would not look at Mitt when he was talking. Mitt looked right at Obama as he was speaking. I got a kick out of it when O suggested to the moderator, you might want to go on to the next subject when he realized he was getting his A _ _ kicked.

Except that the debt is a perception and specter of the elite, bankster and investor class to beat workers into submission and stupidity. If you understood banking you would never look at debt the same way again, you would realize who the real criminals and monsters under your bed are, and it is anyone and everyone earning interest on you. Or read the OT Yaweh’s opinion of money-lenders (Ezekiel & Isaiah.) Robmoney is poster-boy of money-lenders, Ryan is the whip-handler and you are the horses being driven where they will, and everything they say is an unspoken submission to that relationship by you, if you vote for them.

  Oh dear Guest……………I’m all for biblical references too, but we are 4 weeks from election day…….4 weeks from saving America or flushing her down the Obamic-drain…………….At least in Romney we have a man who will adhere to the Constitution. We the people will still have a voice through our newly elected/conservative congress people and senators, too. With Ozero, we won’t, as already proven. Right now, America’s only chance is Romney, like it or not. Work hard to get the right congress folk into DC…………..and pray. The choice is clear. It’s the darkness and depths of hell, or muddy waters……………..I’ll take the muddy waters and try filtering my way back to clear…………………..Please, Guest, consider the options again.

He still doesn’t have my vote, Mitt Romney wants to provide the Syrian jihadists with heavy weaponry so that they might more successfully confront and overthrow the Syrian government. The fact that the Syrian rebels have sought to destroy the ancient Syrian Christian community, are allied with al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood, massacre civilians, are openly anti-American and anti-Western, and have proclaimed their goal of turning Syria into a shariah means nothing to him.

  And what does Obama want to do? A multitude of negative things with the middle east. Best to get Romney elected and then tell him “no” if you don’t agree….. He won’t do end runs around congress. He knows how our Constitution works………….Vote for him or help to elect Ozero by not voting at all …………..then deal with your conscience. I’d rather deal with a squishy-Romney than an out and out Communist/Marxist named Obama………………{ I call Romney squishy in reference to his social issues, which leave we conservatives dismayed. We have some serious work to do on him AFTER he is elected.}

  So,you would vote for our current President that is on the side of the Muslim Brotherhood. Who is a Socialist, Marxist, Communist, Muslim , who sides with the extremeists. Who appologizes to the Muslim world and says at the UN :”The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.” If this doesn’t scare the begeebiz out of you than I don’t get how you could allow Obama another four years to enslave us and destroy us and accomplish the goals of the Radical Muslims in their Caliphate. You are drinking the Obama koolaid. Do not believe their propaganda against Romney. He is what we need to get this boat turned around to stay a FREE AMERICA.

A Christian need to realize that it was Romney who was ultimately responsible for same-sex “marriages” taking place. The Supreme Judicial Court only issued an opinion and advised the Legislature to act (which it never did). Even the Court acknowledged that it had no power to change the law.

Governor Romney created these “marriages” through an unconstitutional and illegal directive to his Department of Public Health (to print new “marriage” licenses), and through his legal counsel threatened to fire any Town Clerk or Justice of the Peace who failed to implement the (non-existent) “new law”. He was not required by any constitutional mandate to do these things. On the contrary, his actions clearly violated his oath to uphold the laws of Massachusetts.

  As you point out, Mr Romney is NOT perfect. He has a past. I do, however, think that he will abide by a conservative Senate and Congress and I do think that he is a traditional American who LOVES this country and all that makes her the best. Obama will not follow the Constitution, in fact he despised it. He does not love America and her traditions. We get to choose between the two men, Romney and Ozero…………..the choice is clear. After the election, we have some serious issues to straighten out…………..with the right congress and president, we can make those changes………………Congress is equally as important to change in 2012. God bless us, one and all……………

  Does Romney really believe in Gay Marriage? Or is this just a stepping stone toward make traditional Mormon Polygamy legal? Once Marriage is no longer between a man and a woman, it isn’t a far step to make it between a man and five women….
  
  Of course the same question could be asked about Obama. In most Muslim countries, death is prescribed punishment for homosexuals. The only theological debate, is the manor of death. (i.e. stoning, cutting of their heads, burning them alive, pushing them off from a high tower, etc.)
  
  But Muslims believe in polygamy and hope to emulate their religion’s prophet. So, perhaps both Romney and Obama have the same motive here, too?

  He’s still far superior to Obama on EVERY moral issue. It’s too late to vote for other candidates, so let’s move on. We just have to personally work harder in the next Primaries. Until then, get behind Romney and push him in. Then we’ll work to keep his feet to the fire if we get him in.
