He’s Back: Gore- ‘Hurricane Sandy is a disturbing sign of things to come’

Former Vice President Al Gore has finally weighed in on Hurricane Sandy, warning that the monster storm is a “disturbing sign of things to come” because of climate change.

Gore commenced his Tuesday blog post by suggesting that people donate or volunteer to assist hurricane victims, before launching into his signature issue, climate change.

“Hurricane Sandy is a disturbing sign of things to come,” Gore explained in his “Statement on Hurricane Sandy.”

“We must heed this warning and act quickly to solve the climate crisis. Dirty energy makes dirty weather,” he said.

According to the former vice president-turned-global warming activist, Sandy reminded him of a flood event in his hometown of Nashville, Tenn., which he wrote was a “milestone” in his understanding that the “climate crisis” is a reality.

A recent scientific study shows that Earth’s mean temperature is exactly what it was 30 years ago. Global warming? There is no warming. … Climate change? Same temperature = NO change … This is all a load of bullcrap!

The only thing that’s gone up over the past 30 years is Al Gore’s waiseline and the number of dollars in his bank account. He’s pimping a crisis and laughing, all the way to the bank.

If the liberals can create a perceived crisis (such as global warming) then they’ll find a way to tax it. That’s what this is all about … expanding government control and taxes.

This guy is a complete idiot. There is no such thing as global warming, it is all designed to happen naturally and happens for specific reasons. Yes he is laughing all the way to the bank unfortunately. Our earth does what it does for its own life course. And I believe you are correct with the expanding government control and taxes.

Not sure about Global Warming, I know that Al the Whales version is corrupt as he is. But Remember the Democrat convention when the Boo the proposition to include God and
Israel in their party platform. The Boos were long and loud, they sent a clear message
that they did not want neigher God nor Israel included. Perhaps this is in responses
to their rejection of both? Seems strange that they have gone so long with no problems
of this type from the weather and suddendly just before the election it comes in on
them.

  Nonsense Zag . . . in the last 16 years the temperature has remained constant or dropped slightly . . . NASA Satelite data.
  Temp data in the 90′s warmed because the Soviet Union collapsed and no longer sent data from Siberia and Russia . . . hence the Data Warmed. Warmest decade in the 20th century . . . the 1930′s.
  The oceans have not risen . . . and Fat Al is a fraud ! ! !
  The Ice caps are fine and the polar bears have increased by 40% in the last w decades. Gorebull Warming was a lie . . . CO2 is a benign, rare gas that enables plants to grow.   The earth has warmed and cooled many times in recorded history (and even before that, but no one other than the rocks and ice were keeping track). Towards the end of the 1880′s it started to get warmer because we were coming out the Little Ice Age that took place between the 16th and 19th centuries. The decades during the 1920′s and 1940′s were much warmer than today. The storm patterns that we’re seeing mirror the pattern of the 1950′s. For starters, try reading a book called The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming. It describes how the environmentalists used data that couldn’t be replicated anywhere else by other scientists, how they omitted certain data to get the results they wanted, an example being the famous “hockey stick” temperature rise during the last century. For those that read this book the email scandal from a few years ago would not be a surprise since the players and their motivation is clearly spelled out. As for your comments about NASA, NASA is run by people with specialized jobs that like getting a paycheck. Some people are fearful of having their reputations ruined like many others that dared to defy those in the green movement.
