Here is the entire Rose Garden presentation, I encourage you to watch the entire thing. I’m sorry, no honest, clear minded, intelligent human being could interpret that one “acts of terror” line as a public pronouncement that the attack in Libya was terrorism. And that is exactly what the president was insinuating last night. There was no other reason for him to even bring it up last night.
First of all, its almost 4 minutes into the statement before the word terror is even used. Compare that with President Bush’s first statement on the 911 attacks where he called them apparent “terrorist attacks” 38 seconds into his two minute speech. No guessing, no wondering, no parcing or words. Terrorist attacks!!
Also, around the first minute Obama actually talks about religious tolerance and that no religious desecration justifies THIS violence. Clearly establishing the link between the controversial movie and the subsequent attack in Libya. So let me get this straight, one minute Obama is saying that it was an attack resulting from a controversial/ insensitive religious movie, but at the same time, in the same speech, he is saying it was a carefully planned act of terrorism? Are we really that stupid Mr. President?
Second, Obama uses the “act of terror” line after talking about 9/11 and the importance of the day in the previous minute. So if anything, the context is more in reference to the 9/11 date, not these attacks. Not one time does he use the word terrorism, or terrorists. He calls them attacks and killers? He says “brutal acts”,” & “sensuously violence”….but not terrorism.
As a country, if we are at the point where the President can get up in front of 70 million people and lie/misrepresent the facts, his position, and history itself and is not be held accountable…..we are the stupidest people on earth and are finished as a country. No matter what the outcome of the next election

"Doug Giles and his team over at ClashDaily.com cut through the crap to expose what have become modern day human slaughter houses: gun free zones. Their candid arguments about allowing teachers to protect themselves and the students in their care through concealed carry should be taken seriously. As a result maybe, just maybe, we’ll be able to save some lives someday rather than call the cops to report the body count." - Katie Pavlich. "There were many lessons to draw from the horrific Newtown, CT school shooting. Unfortunately, most of the media and political Left came up with the wrong ones. But not Doug Giles and his writers over at ClashDaily.com. In the wake of this horror, they offered a robust defense of American citizens' right to bear arms and common sense answers to societal violence. The Sandy Hook Massacre: When Seconds Count, the Police are Minutes Away is a great resource for those interested in this vital, Constitutional issue." - S.E.
