How could a parent not want their children protected at school by a police officer given this environment of violence we live in?
Niggishzidda
Parents that will not accept the fact they have problem children!!!! In Myrtle Beach a 16 Asperger attacked the SRO/police officer with a WWII bayonet his father bought him which ended with the officer finally having to kill him. Parents then sued the police dept, school system and this police officer. This was just settled out of court two weeks before CT happened. Parents get a large some of money even though this officer was proven self defense and a suicide note from this kid was found on this boy’s computer.

I believe it was 2000 when Clinton wanted armed security in schools’ just goes to show you the hypocrisy of the stupid progressives wanting a gun ban.The taxpayer pays for their armed security. I have a great idea to test their ban theory, we the citizens will refuse to pay for their protection? The silence would be deafening from the leftist, a mouse fart would be heard around the world.

I love Christmas lights! They remind me of…..
“the people who voted for Obama…….”
They all hang together; half of them don’t work,
and the ones that do, aren’t all that bright!

According to a news report, a certain private Catholic school was recently faced with a unique problem. A number of 12-year-old girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine provided it was of a natural or neutral skin tone, but after they put on their lipstick, they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints.
Every night the maintenance man would remove them; and the next day the girls would put them back. Finally, the principal, Sister Mary, decided that something had to be done. She called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the custodian, who had to clean the mirrors every night (you can just imagine the yawns from the little princesses).
To demonstrate how difficult it had been to clean the mirrors, Sister Mary asked the maintenance man to show the girls how much effort was required. He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it.
Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror.
There are teachers…… And then there are educators!

The high school my youngest daughter went to back in the 80′s had an officer stationed in the parking lot.

After searching all over for any mention of the possibility of Adam Lanza being on street drugs I found exactly nothing. There is speculation about everything but that. What, is there some sort of black out on the subject? I would think that would be the first thought in anyones’ mind who has ever seen one of those drug burnouts. Lanza’s picture bears a striking resemblance to someone who is a long term addict. The connection between illicit, street drugs and violent acts is notorious. I just don’t get it. Why is it that nobody is talking about this?
wisewoman
Simple. They are not talking about it because it doesn’t fit the “we need gun control” message that is favored by liberals.
T. Edward Price
Maybe this is because Adam Lanza was not on illicit “street drugs”, but perfectly legal psychotropic medications, which are far more dangerous. The connection between SSRI’s and mass shootings, as well as many other acts of violence, is irrefutable! This is why the FDA should be abolished. We need psychiatrist control, NOT gun control.

Would it be possible to recruit, vet and train a cadre of school employees whether they be principals, teachers, coaches or janitors to be defenders of the children? Would it be possible to train or rely on such a group to run toward gun fire and react aggressively?
Even if this we possible, which is very questionable, the progressive left would gag and choke at the thought. The problem is not going to be solved as long as the media continues to make the miscreants famous.

Dumbass Vito. I guess that’s why WABC had him guest host in NYC. One of the biggest stations in the USA. Also, America’s Morning News on 155 major markets features his commentary every week and his book about raising daughters was on Amazon’s best-seller list for 9mos.

"Doug Giles and his team over at ClashDaily.com cut through the crap to expose what have become modern day human slaughter houses: gun free zones. Their candid arguments about allowing teachers to protect themselves and the students in their care through concealed carry should be taken seriously. As a result maybe, just maybe, we’ll be able to save some lives someday rather than call the cops to report the body count." - Katie Pavlich. "There were many lessons to draw from the horrific Newtown, CT school shooting. Unfortunately, most of the media and political Left came up with the wrong ones. But not Doug Giles and his writers over at ClashDaily.com. In the wake of this horror, they offered a robust defense of American citizens' right to bear arms and common sense answers to societal violence. The Sandy Hook Massacre: When Seconds Count, the Police are Minutes Away is a great resource for those interested in this vital, Constitutional issue." - S.E.
