Biden: We’re Counting on ‘Legit Media’ for Successful Gun Control Effort

During a press conference on gun safety in Philadelphia, Vice President Joe Biden said that any reports that suggest that he was trying to take weapons away from gun owners was a “bunch of malarkey.”

“I know that’s a word that you’ve never heard before, although it’s now in the dictionary,” Biden boasted.

Biden said that it was important for the media to dissuade the American public from the idea that the Obama administration was prepared to do something unconstitutional on guns.

“To be very blunt with you, we’re counting on all of you, the legitimate news media to cover these discussions because the truth is that times have changed,” Biden added, warning that people would continue to “misrepresent” the White House’s plans for gun control.

Well Joe, who is going to report the truth? That an like the AWB of ’94 another AWB will not stop any criminal from committing acts of violence. It will only infringe on the rights of law-abiding citizens because criminals are not concerned about any laws. It goes against the very fabric of this country to punish those who obey the law, because of the actions of a select few that decide to break the law. Who’s going to report that it’s not the guns that are causing these crimes but sick individuals that are looking for their 15 minutes of fame because the LAME STREAM media glorifies these violent acts and then sets the stage for some other crazy fool to try and out do the one that went before him. There are so many other things that need to be addressed other than limiting ownership of weapons to those that obey the law. Politicians are just using the tragedy in Newtown to push their anti-gun agenda’s. You all swore an oath to uphold the Constitution and defend it against all enemies both foreign and domestic. You all aren’t doing a very good job at it. You contradict yourselves when you call an AR-15 an assault weapon, when your own definition of an assault weapon states that assault weapons are capable of firing either fully automatic or 3 round burst. You actually think that the American people are going to let you just walk all over their Constitutional rights? It sure seems like it, I sure don’t understand how you all can even get elected? I’m sure it’s all rigged somehow, Well from one Oath-keeper to the rest of you out there, it’s time to wake up and smell the roses before it’s too late! Jarhead out

The second amendment is non-negotiable, as is the rest of them. Lets ask the New Yorkers who not only had their 2nd amendment rights violated but also through a simple freedom of information request the government failed to protect they’re 4th amendment right.

Biden and the gungabbers need to explain how this so clled “universal background check” will work…First, what kind of imformation is required? Name, age, DL number? How about SSN? Now that’s a interesting one: Mine says “Not for use for Identification”. It’s official so I believe it means what it says. BUT, and that’s a big one………If you’re buying a gun from a private individual which is perfectly legal right now, and then background checks are passed, are you willing to give an individual you don’t know personnally access to your SSN? Since background checks would be required BEORE you can purchase a gun, what happens when many buyers must be checked and how long would they be required to wait for the results? What about hundreds, thousands or millions of private buyers are trying to buy a gun and might decide against it while waiting, how can Obama and his anti-gun AG Holder going to process these in a meaningful way THAT DOES NOT INFRINGE ON OUR RIGHTS?
What do you think the lying dictator’s response to this could be since he so “respects the 2nd Amendment”?

If he’s counting on ‘legit media’ it will never happen. The “slime stream media” is NOT legit, & hasn’t been for a long time. They only report liberal junk, never real news.
