But in Southern California, one sicko Sean Banks used the site to meet, rape, and burglarize a woman in her home last November. As an aside, let this be a lesson to the ladies out there: don’t bring a guy within 500 feet of your home if you don’t know who he is. Banks was arrested this past Monday but police fear that there may be more of his victims out there without having come forward.
Christian Mingle, a site which has millions of people looking for “God’s match” for them, is now strictly investigating their existing profiles to weed out any suspicious subscribers. Police are televising Banks’ mugshot as much as they can in hopes that other women who have been victimized to come forward.
