Clash Daily contributor Gen. Jerry Curry was recently interviewed on the Michael Savage radio program. He addresses the the gun rights vs. gun control issue by considering the problem of overall societal coarseness. What about America’s “culture of violence”? What about respect for others? How did our forefathers view gun ownership versus the way so many look at it today? On another topic, why has the federal government bought billions of rounds of ammunition over the course of the last year? And, exactly WHAT is Barack Obama up to?

I agree when the second amendment was written things have changed .The use of guns at that time was home protection along with it was a tool used to hunt and recreation because hunting was a neccecity not a recreation .Now we are regulated to death and most buy most of their food instead of growing it or shooting it .But now people are less honest and the government has became more forceful and the Supreme Court has ruled recently on DC’s gun ownership ban and on Chicago’s gun laws so why can’t the liberals give it up .It was their stupid gun free zone signs that caused Sandy Hook ,Columbine ,Virginia Tect as well as Ft Hood and a host of others sick minds starve for attention and target places where they can gain the most recognition . One proposal that sounds idiotic that really works is a whistle if you are dealing with a less than sane person because they will look for where the noise is coming from .
"Doug Giles and his team over at ClashDaily.com cut through the crap to expose what have become modern day human slaughter houses: gun free zones. Their candid arguments about allowing teachers to protect themselves and the students in their care through concealed carry should be taken seriously. As a result maybe, just maybe, we’ll be able to save some lives someday rather than call the cops to report the body count." - Katie Pavlich. "There were many lessons to draw from the horrific Newtown, CT school shooting. Unfortunately, most of the media and political Left came up with the wrong ones. But not Doug Giles and his writers over at ClashDaily.com. In the wake of this horror, they offered a robust defense of American citizens' right to bear arms and common sense answers to societal violence. The Sandy Hook Massacre: When Seconds Count, the Police are Minutes Away is a great resource for those interested in this vital, Constitutional issue." - S.E.
