Gun Companies Refuse Sales to State Governments with Strict Gun Laws

Screen Shot 2013-02-16 at 1.50.13 PM Six gun companies have announced plans to stop selling any of their products to any government agency in states that severely limit the rights of private gun ownership.

Breitbart- Disappointed with New York State lawmakers and other jurisdictions around the country who have passed strict gun control legislation, the companies—composed of firearm manufacturers, gunsmiths, and sporting goods retailers—have announced these policies in the past week.

Their various statements emphasize that such laws create a class of government employees with rights and and a class of citizens without rights. Thus, they refuse to aid the enforcement of such inequality.

The announcements read:

LaRue Tactical

Effective today, in an effort to see that no legal mistakes are made by LaRue Tactical and/or its employees, we will apply all current State and Local Laws (as applied to civilians) to state and local law enforcement / government agencies. In other words, LaRue Tactical will limit all sales to what law-abiding citizens residing in their districts can purchase or possess.

I suppose if there are no guns, there will be no crime and thus police won’t need any weapons. Sounds nice, doesn’t it? Somehow, I think something is wrong with that picture.

  Have you ever heard of knives, screwdrivers, hammers, ball bats, pitch forks, ax handles. Bad people will always have something. I personally will fall back to cross bows and long bows. I was pretty good with them years ago.

Aside from the nit-pick that police officers are also civilians, i.e., not under Uniform Code of Military Justice, I applaud this action.

This is a good first step. I will support these companies and recommend them to others. I certainly hope the other manufacturers will follow suit. Are you seeing this Remington, Colt and Smith and Wesson?

IMHO if they are located in states that are basically anti second amendment to pack up their factories and move to states that believe in the second amendment and are gun friendly. They put thousands of people to work, if they move to a gun friendly state that will have a definite impact on these anti Constitution states and it will serve them right.

All they are saying is they are going to obey the gun control law, just it’s worded so people don’t stop patronizing them. The police will outsource their guns. THINK! OMG!

This is great first step, however this should be expanded to the federal government and personal protection details of any of the politicians who are pushing anti-second amendment policies and legislation.

In the view of the mainstream media, leaving a drowned woman in your car at the bottom of a river shouldn’t end your career (Teddy Kennedy); ejaculating on an intern in the Oval Office shouldn’t end your career (Bill Clinton); allowing a male prostitution ring to run from your apartment shouldn’t end your career (Barney Frank); leaving Americans without security in Benghazi and quietly going to sleep as 4 Americans die there isn’t a career ender (U.S. President Barack Obama); Committing acts of campaign finance fraud (labeled as a racist witch-hunt) shouldn’t end your career neither (Jesse Jackson Jr.).

But U.S. Senator Marco Rubio sipping water during rebuttal to State of the Union address – now that’s the end of the world! After all, when all Democrats walk on water, sipping it just seems sacrilegious.

Too bad the manufacturers of ammunition didn’t refuse the 21 MILLLION rounds recently purchased by DHS! Whose security are they worried about…and what about all those caskets they have stockpiled? There is something “rotten in Denmark” as the saying goes!

Colorado just flat ignored all the people that were at the capital and did what they wanted instead of listening to the voice of the people, it was a sham and disgrace!!! Thanks again.
