Stallone made this statement in order to insure funding for his current and future projects. Most if not all of Hollywood is composed of Leftists. He is simply toting the company line.

Spineless… purely spineless Stallone. A man who promotes his movies as “man flicks” turns around and exposes his man-gina. I geuss all those steroids turned him into a pinkie-dick.

I’ll never spend another nickle on a movie with him in it.

    • TLady62

You nailed it, Adam. Rocky got hit in the head once too often.

      • DrSique

He may be a bit “punchy”, these days, but he was born rock stupid. The only thing that has made him successful is his willingness to juice up and work out. If it wasn’t for the desire of Americans to see muscular guys, who can talk out of the side of their faces, shoot a bunch of bad guys, he would be a gardener in Hollywood instead of a box office draw. He and Chris Christie are what I like to call tax day conservatives. The only time they feel the least bit conservative is when they are paying their bill on April 15.

        • TLady62

Well said, Doc! I’m not too wild about Krispy Kreme, as Mark Levin has called him on his show.

    • Cinci Jew

The same goes for the Kennedy in law from Austria, Arnold Schwarzenegger the Governator who banned .50 cal rifles. Both made millions from movies featuring guns but want to disarm us. Who cares what these ignorant leftist actors think anyway, they think they know something about a subject when all they did was act.

      • TLady62

And caved to the Democrats every single time.

    • Richard_LR

I think this idiot needs to make a pledge that he will return all revenues received from these movies, if he is so pro-gun control.

  • john gensheimer

Unlike many gun “advocates”, Stallone knows the difference between fantasy and reality. He knows that while movies can deliver a message, it is also a form of escapism. Sometimes it’s just entertainment, nothing more.
While I too, believe in 2nd amendment rights, like anything in life, especially something as dangerous as guns or automobiles, need some sort of reasonable regulation. We can disagree on where to draw the line, but children should have the right to go to school without fearing for their life. I would think we would all want that.

    • singingcowboy674

John, if you want the children to go to school without fear of their life, then you need to HOME school your children. I would SERIOUSLY challenge you to do a deep study into the Sandy Hook massacre. Which I believe you are referencing. I have PROOF that each one of the “family members” interviewed, or I should say most of them; are FEMA actors. Not real affected parents. This was a gov’t operation designed to bolster the people’s support of an anti-gun policy. This is NOT about regulation. These people in Washington are not IDIOTS. Contrary to public opinion. They KNOW that you have to “eat an elephant one bite at a time”. It’s the same thing they do with gas. They start out at a dollar. Then they raise it to 1.30 and people raise holy hell. (figure of speech) THEN, they drop it back down but not to the original dollar, but like to 1.10 or 1.15. And then we are relieved. But it’s never 1.00 again. It slowly gets higher and higher and higher. Just like regulation get tighter and tighter and tighter until the regulation as such that it effectively restricts the people’s rights completely away. In the name of safety. Leaving a gov’t that would seek to enslave it’s people, unable to defend themselves from an assault w/ stronger weapons at such a time as they seek to “pull the trigger” on “collecting” us.

      • K

Really? Sandy Hook Truther? That’s the type of human being you want to be seen as?

        • DenverKitty

K: Who gives a d@mn about the way you “see” us? I don’t care about petting you and giving good night huggies. Stand up, and be a man or a woman with a backbone. I’d rather be a :leader” than a sheep!

        • whynot

Do you really want to be seen as an obamination zombie….I really would tend to believe just Adam accordind to the democrotches track record for the past 4 years plus!!!!! Look at the big picture and put down the kool-aid…

        • Phillip_in_TX

I agree with him. So, yes, Really! There is too much out their showing this was a hoax. I am looking at what the pictures “show and don’t show.” Just like the messiah supposedly “skeet shooting.”

How come the lame stream media doesn’t cover all the killings, happening in Chicago, every day? Or, why isn’t there one PEEP of the 50 million babies slaughtered at abortion clinics? Oops! I forgot, it is above “it’s not my fault Obama’s” pay grade.

They lame stream media “rarely” reports when guns are used to “save people,” often, without a shot being fired.

Now, cozy up, and get a nice tall glass of Kool Aid.

    • COTom

Beleive the NRA suggested having police or a qualified person at each school and that suggestion is being implemented. Now what to do about those dangerous automobiles?

    • rivahmitch

So what you’re really saying is that you DON’T believe in the 2nd Amendment or rights. What part of “shall NOT be infringed” are you missing? The 2nd Amendment doesn’t confer rights, nor do any of the other so-called “Bill of Rights” (1st ten Amendments). It merely prohibits the government from taking them away. BTW, self-defense is an inherent part of the right to life. Driving a car is a privilege.

  • Frank_Alexander

Stallone is as fake as a three dollar bill. There is not a genuine bone in his body!

  • Daniel Knight

If he believe that, I got some land to sell him

  • John Kirkwood

    Yep, he’s dead to me!

  • GrizzMann

A prostitute, will do what is wrong, for pay. Sound familiar?

    • Hilly

Sounds like senate, congress, and our traitor in chief to me.

  • phunyfarm

    Rambo my ass!

    • 7papa7

He is only rambo in his dreams. If I am not mistaken he ran to Canada during the Viet Nam war so he wouldn’t get drafted. He is a coward. He is all talk but when it came to protecting America he deserted. He should have been put before a firing squad for his cowardice and avoiding the draft illegally.

      • phunyfarm

A firing squad could be quite useful for numerous individuals. Drawing and quartering should be reserved for special individuals. May the punishment fit the crime.

  • ChaplainMD

All this so called conversation about about taking guns from the good people and giving them to the criminals, i.e. Fast and Furious, lets the real American people know how much work we have to do to get the communists out of our government. Make note of all the communists who are calling for gun controls because when the communist liberal state media moves on to a different subject the communist gun control people will slip back into the cracks and try to be a normal person among us. Is Stallone a communist? Not yet, but he’s been highly influenced by communist propaganda. Also it is not a question if I want a semi-automatic to shoot a deer or not. It is a question of when Obama’s brown-shirt gangs roam neighborhoods to rape and steal from law abiding citizens. The unemployment rate among young people is 25% does anybody think that when Obama suggests to organize these people into thug street gangs, these people will not have guns? If you do you’re an idiot. These Obama brown-shirts will be sent out to disarm or kill the American people. So, the question why would you need so many bullets to kill Bambi? Because Bambi is a wolf in Sheep’s clothing and is there to steal from you, kill your children, put you in prison and if you resist, kill you. C’mon, it’s not like this never happened before in history and the American people better wise up to the occasion.

    • Phillip_in_TX

How true. It has happened numerous times in our history, in our country. The English were the first to make the mistake of “attempting” to disarm the American people.

  • MikeS

At the end of the day he is, in fact, an idiot. He is more worried about angering his financial backers than protecting real freedoms long term. Wasn’t much of a fan before. Guess now I am anti-sly.

  • JohnWayne

Steroids have baked his brain . . .

I saw BOYCOTT Hollywood and all the idiots that are over payed to star in these films, but say we have no right to defend ourselfs with the 2nd amendment. Come on America wake up and put these idiots out of business!

QUIT supporting hollywood! stallone (who knew?), glover, and the rest of their ilk, only want YOUR money, not your opinion. Once obummer has us all corralled, the left will understand that there is NO money left for them. The government will have it all…You just keep working to support 2 or 3 other people and everything will be fine…NOT! Wake Up America!!!

    –GUN HISTORY FACTS–

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated…

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians,
unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated…

  • rebart

I used to like him, now I know he is only a special ops wannabe. What a disgusting hypocrite. He made his fortune on gun violence and now he is against it. Boycott him.

  • XSF

Stallone has always been an idiot, now we know what kind. His response is typical of those who come from the bowels of unholywood. Why would we expect anything different?

  • Mary

    Boycott his movies!

  • J. B.

Stallone ask, who needs an assault weapon? There is no such thing as an assault weapon. What makes an assault baseball bat an assault baseball bat? The guy holding the bat. Everybody needs a rapid fire weapon, if they are being attacked by an assaulter with a rapid fire weapon. Some say the constitution give rights to own a musket. Duh, that’s because a musket was what an attacker may have. Today, we have the rights to own what the attacker may have as well. If the assaulter has a rapid fire weapon, we have the right to own a defensive rapid fire weapon. No legitimate discussion can take place, without addressing hollywood and video violence running rampant without any censorship. Period. If those discussing gun controll do not open with a comment on hollywood’s influence, the conversation has no legitimacy.

  • DRAGA

    yep i agree
    just another demi-nazi!!

  • Jim28thReg

Sly never was to clever —–nope never was. Wouldn’t walk across the street to get free tickets to his movies or even to look into his eyes. Seems I just can’t stand cowards or non-Americans – traitors and illegal — better not leave out Monkey Men.

  • David J. Stuehr

Grunting pigs deliver dialog better than this fat, has-been. I have not seen one of his movies from start to finish in years. I roll my eyes and turn to something else. He is a fake, phoney, two-bit poser.

  • rivahmitch

“Who … needs an assault weapon? Like really, unless you’re carrying out
an assault. … You can’t hunt with it. … Who’s going to attack your
    house, a (expletive) army?”

Guess he’s never heard of either home invasions or the Kenyan fascist’s “Domestic Security Corps” (including DHS, ATF, etc). Oh and yes, under the current leadership, that part of the army loyal to Il Duce rather than the Constitution. Semper Fi.

    • Steve

an AR-10 in .308 is an excellent hunting weapon…accurate & dependable with stopping power sufficient for the largest game on this continent !

  • txlady706

makes sense to me. Stallone always plays the guy that is the “hero” he is FOR the American gov’t. THE GOVERNMENT. That doesn’t mean the people. He is an elitist. He is the guy that says – the people should NOT own guns, only the authorized government should. The commoner should not be trusted. What do they know about guns? This is how THEY think and LOOK at him. He is the THEY that is the ELITE – aka Feinstein, Bloomberg, et al.

  • Bravo Two Six

The AR-15 is not an assault weapon. It is an “assault looking” rifle. Unlike the M-60, after which it is designed (a military weapon, for you folks less informed), it does not have a “burst” switch (3 shots fired in succession without having to re-trigger), nor does it have a “fully automatic” switch (empty clip with one pull and hold on trigger). No, it is a single shot weapon only. Hardly qualifies as an assault weapon.

  • Evocatus

Surprise, surprise…Someone in Hollywood is a phony, a liar and a hypocrit, totally lacking in moral courage, core values and understanding of our founding principles? Who’d have thought such a thing possible?

Stallone, like most Hollywood types, cowardly and ever true to the Hollywood model, bows down and licks the hand that feeds him…He knows where the PC line is, and fearless as Rambo, toes that line…

I thought he showed promise and was a fair actor at one time, but regret the $ I spent on his Rocky and Rambo movies…I’ve seen my last…

  • XSF

The term “assault weapon” is a term used by the leftist media whores and presstitutes to demonize those who support 2nd Amendment rights. The fact and truth is that any object used to harm another human being could be labeled as an assault weapon. It is the action, not the object which determines the definition.

  • Sandy

Our gov prefers “personal defense weapon” (or PDW) when placing orders for thousands of the media branded “assault weapons”. This despite the fact the gov weapons have the selective fire option.

  • Bass_Boat_Bill

Yo, Rocky.. You coulda been a contenda.. But you’re just another poluka.. You’re a bum, a washed up has-been… Now get outta my gym !!

  • $12994363

Seems “stud” Stallone is really testosterone-challenged. He couldn’t act in Rocky, he couldn’t act in Rambo, and he still can’t act. The closest thing to putting on a credible act was when he was the brain-damaged, punch-drunk, over-the-hill, clown in the final Rocky flop, no. 7, I think. And it is doubtful that he was acting in that one, either.
I’d rather pull my (healthy) teeth out with out anaesthesia than have to sit through one of his films.

  • John

I suggest that no one go to see his film or any of the other anti American actors’ films. Kids watch these idiots on killing sprees and then we wonder how and why they go off the deep end. Lets be pro 2nd Amendment and anti Hollywooden brain.

    • gutterfalcon

I decided when I saw that “Demand a Plan” video, that I would never spend another penny on any of their movies.

  • LawAbidingCitizen

Old Sylvester should have stuck to ‘soft porn’ as, Rocky was such BS and then Rambo was a joke… GB I never forked over a dime for this guy’s movies..

  • ggswede

What do you expect from Hollywood ? These people can only act,to make money ! Put them or make them get a regular job,and it’s all over !

  • gutterfalcon

People always made fun of him for being stupid, I guess he really is. Could someone send him a copy of the Constitution & a History book.

    • DrSique

And someone to read them to him?

  • mikeinidaho

You could have stopped at “idiot”, the rest of the adjectives are superfluous! Another hollywierdo heard from. Shut up Stallone, you’re drooling again.

  • MadPunter1963

He has always been a lying hypocrite. What else would you expect from a war wimp that runs away from Vietnam but, decades later, makes a fortune glorifying it.

  • VirgoVince

That’s why they’re called, ACTORS, folks, they live in a make believe world, trying to get you to believe the characters they portray!!
A lot like ovomit pretending to be president and idiot libturd minions portraying humans!!

  • standtallall

Wonder if he will start remaking Disney films? That should pay the bills.

  • sovereigntyofone

I’m just curious IF they take away all ” military style/looking ‘ guns. What is Sylvester Stallone going to use in his next shoot’em up movie, his fingers? I’m sure that the Hollywood (armorer) people are going to turn in their guns they use in all these movies. And yes, they are real guns and NOT computer generated graphics. They are capable of shooting real bullets just as well as blanks. But of course I’m sure that Diane Feinstein has put in an exemption for Hollywood to keep theirs, just like the politicians can there theirs.
And to answer ” dipsticks ” statement. ” Who … needs an assault weapon? Like really, unless you’re carrying out an assault. … You can’t hunt with it.” Anyone needs one when gang bangers have them and are shooting at your house, or in cases like the Rodney King Riots in LA, and Yes, you can hunt with them. The .223 caliber rifle is popular as a ” varmint ” rifle. So once again the Hollywood types as well are politicians don’t know squat.

    • Phillip_in_TX

And, as well as know, there are all types of “varmints!”

  • ATLDave

In addition to menal health and gun control on assauolt rifles we should also look at the violence that Hoolywood propogates in its violent movies. I say we start now by not going to see Stalone’s new movie.

    • Phillip_in_TX

What new movie? ; ) He will not see another dime of my money, that is for sure.

  • http://www.redinknews.org/ Red Ink News

Another liberal with their head up their ass and a hypocrite ta-boot!

  • angry1

Stallone has made a fortune on violent movies with guns and pugilism. He even played a vietnam vet with mental issues in the first Rambo. When he stops making violent, desensitizing movies with the other hollywood actor hypocrites just maybe I might think about giving up my guns(yea when hell freezes over).Nobody not even Obama or the heads of the hollywood industry have nothing to say now,is it because they contributed millions of dollars to Obama? And the game industry putting out game after game with violence ,they too are mum on the issue.

  • Becky Kress

For a guy who has made multiple movies involving high powered guns this idiot seems to know nothing about them. Does he know what an assault weapon is? Because the phrase has never been a part of the gun lexicon and the term seems to have been made up recently by liberals trying to scare people. Stallone glorifies the American spirit if liberty to make money in his movies but spits on the Constitution and Bill of Rights as a left wing socialist.

  • whynot

Typical obamination infused celebrity with useless opinion and in an industry that is headed for extinction!!!!!

  • Hilly

Stallone has his head up his own butt hole if he thinks people don’t hunt with assault weapons. The more the “actors” in Hollywood show what a bunch of hypocrites they are, the less time I spend watching their garbage. I think we should boycott Hollywood.

I bought my AR10 (DPMS LR.308-L) specifically for hunting. I have tendon trouble in my elbows and shoulders, and my AR is extremely light weight (around 6 lbs.), is semi-auto with a ported barrel to mostly eliminate kick, it has a match grade trigger with a very light pull to help me not to flinch. It is extremely accurate.

  • Hilly

Don’t give me that garbage that nobody hunts with an assault weapon! I use an AR10 for hunting, and so does my husband. I would never go back to hunting with my old Remington 30.06.

  • barbiecakes

This is a shocker for me> I always thought of Stallone as a Republican.

  • whynot

    Boycott his new movie!!!!!!

  • Darius the Mede

Another so-called “gun hero” bites the dust. I think he lacks a backbone, or else, his natural inclinations are toward living in a dictatorship..

  • jamohio

Stallone is simply another “usefull idiot” hollywood buffoon!!

  • Hilly

Someone tell Stallone that I hunt with an AR10.

  • Hilly

Stallone is an idiot, and I’ll not support him OR his ilk in Hollywood.

  • TAM44

I think he’s given obama his rambone before.

  • 40Helen60

Hey, people, the best way to get back at these jerks, don’t pay to see their movies.
Hit em where it hurts, stay home and never watch another Stallone movie ever.
They can’t stand realizing they can’t act. Their glory days are over. Stallone is nothing but a has been and all the flab and botox makes him look like something out of a horror movie. All I can say is, “Stallone, get a real job. Your acting days are over.”

  • jimmy john

Hollyweird as usual. Did you all know that Sean Connery(the first Bond) is also antigun? Did you know that Daniel Craig(the present Bond) hates guns so much he didn’t want to use them in his Bond films.

  • neilshog

Another Hollywood moron lecturing us. Gee, I’m like, SHOCKED!

  • carcos

Surprise, surprise, surprise.. another Hollywood hypocrite – no way!

  • granny_forUSA

What a shame. He should know the good people respect their guns, the bad have no respect for guns or human life and they usually get their guns from someones trunk…illegally. But of course we true gun people know that….its only the ignorance of those that are anti gun do not know.

  • Niggishzidda

Yea and he was also dropped on his head when he was a baby.

  • Swordsman

One more hypocrite in Hollyweird whose movies I won’t watch.

  • Stan

Then he should not do any more gun related movies…… and there again what is the definition of an assault gun? I guess if it looks like one it is, after all Stallone should know, right?

  • Berzrkr50

I’ve enjoyed Stallone’s movies in the past, but as far as gun control is concerned I have but 4 words for him: STFU.

  • TEXAS DEPUTY

Get ‘Rambo’ some serious mental health care!!! He can’t even speak English clearly, and is certainly brain dead!!! I watch his movies, after they come out on DVD…cost, $1.00…

  • Lilhank

That’s a shame. He just lost a big fan.

  • jrm

Rumor has it that he had a shoot range in the basement of his Miami mansion back in the 90′s.

  • KJQ

Precisely Mr. Stallone – an army (or police force) sent by a corrupt government. Just another hypocrite safely ensconced in his mansion with a basement full of weapons and ammo.

  • Richard_LR

If all of these people who make money off of massive killings in films were real serious, they would demand that they take their movies out of circulation. Let’s remember that many of these characters are ex-military, who on their own use weapons and kill hundreds. They should also return all the money they made on these films, including royalties, and payments on other paraphernalia. Not one of these “holier than thou” Hollywood Millionaires, would dare denounce violence in films, so they should stay the hell out of my life and ownership of guns. I do not keep my guns for hunting or for protection. I keep them to prevent my country from becoming tyrannical.

  • Richard_LR

Also, remember “First Blood”, where he fights back against a tyrannical sheriff! He was not hunting or keeping his weapons for protection, except for the protection from the government.

  • http://twitter.com/MattAn84 AnthonyM

I’ve known stallone was an anti-gun good for me, not for thee elitist for years. Can’t stand the guy, defintiely won’t be watching any of his movies.

  • WASP

The weaker personalities among the Hollyweird “elite” can’t maintain their integrity after being soaked in the toxic, entitled, filthy rich, out-of-touch-with-reality “culture” of that cesspool. His movies are garbage now, so let him slip beneath the surface and disappear. Like many of you, I will not spend by money or time watching the cinematic work of traitors, no matter how talented they are in pretending on screen. The way things are going, I won’t be watching much of ANYTHING that comes out of that dump. The old movies were better anyway.

2nd amendment has nothing to do with hunting deer Todd, it has to do with being able to defend myself from my government, and if my government has those kinds of weapons, then so should I, that is the point of the 2nd ammendment, when our government has more firepower, we have no power.

  • scooby_doo_25_e5@yahoo.com

Todd your a moron! Machine guns are already highly restricted…and simply unavailable to most citizens. The AR-15 that all the liberal anti-gun grabbers feel are so evil are not machine guns. They are semi-automatic rifles, meaning for every trigger squeeze you one shot. Machine guns are full auto or select fire meaning one pull off the trigger and you get round coming out till you stop holding the trigger or are out of rounds. As for not used for hunting… if your claim that the round is not sufficient to bring down large game your sadly mistaken. If that was the case I’m sure That 5.56mm round wouldn’t have been used in every major conflict since Vietnam.

  • familyman

The ar-15 is not a machine gun. Educate yourself before you decide to write a comment.

  • Frank_Alexander

What would you rather have in the event of a home invasion in Chicago, Washington DC, Detroit, or LA? A semi automatic AR15 with 30 round magazines or the advice from Janet Napolitano: Use scissors!

    http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/01/31/new-homeland-security-video-urges-americans-to-resist-shooters-with-scissors/

Machine guns and so-called assault weapons are not the same thing.

    Nascar VS Camaro.

As usual Todd is talking without thinking. Not really up on the topic, are you Todd?

  • GrizzMann

Machine guns have been banned since 1934, the NFA.

  • Gary

Need to defend ourselfs from this Marxis government!

  • whynot

You are mislead…no you are stupid on all counts, I love it when someone jumps in to comment when they do not know what they are talking about….stallone is far from wise or he would have kept his mouth closed and stayed out of the topic,he only showed his stupidity, second the AR-15 is not a machine gun It is an automatic weapon….and the term assault weapon is also wrong anything used in an assult is called asualt weapon…even a butter knife can be called assult weapon if used to assult a person….be knowledgeable on what you are commenting on so you will not look like a fool!!!!

  • CaptBlasto

todd is just a stupid ass, plain and simple.

  • GrizzMann

The AR does not mean automatic rifle, it’s for the manufacturer, ArmaLite.

  • Jack

Thats the problem with gun control. We have people making these decision that don’t know which end of a rifle the bullet comes out.

  • Russ

I wish people would stop talking about the restrictions on automatic weapons, as though — somehow — that’s okay and that the anti-self-defenses nuts are correct on that issue. Automatic weapons should be — as they once were — available to us without licenses, permits, or background checks. Imagine if people applied licenses, permits, background checks, “need” to buying books, attending church, and other First Amendment rights. What I have a _right_ to do, no one has a “right” to stop me from doing.
