Screen Shot 2013-03-14 at 9.18.16 AM In the Aparecida Document, a document that represents a joint statement by Latin American church leaders but presented by Francis in 2007, the leaders stated, “we should commit ourselves to ‘eucharistic coherence,’ that is, we should be conscious that people cannot receive holy communion and at the same time act or speak against the commandments, in particular when abortions, euthanasia, and other serious crimes against life and family are facilitated. This responsibility applies particularly to legislators, governors, and health professionals.”

although i really have no opinion on the abortion issue and i definitely have a low opinion of the catholic church, its nice to see someone not bow to the alter of leftist dogma.

  No opinion on the abortion issue!!? If you have no opinion on it, you’re for it! While you’re trying to figure it out millions of babies are continued to be murdered! You’re part of the problem in this country! And we wonder all why there are ‘problems’ in this country and sit here and blame God for not helping us? Why should He help us, we’re breaking each and every commandment (10 of them for those who don’t know what I’m talking about) He gave us, even if we’re not individually breaking them, we are in the sense of letting the sins against God run rampid in this country because we don’t stand up against it!! I hope this Pope inflicts the fear of God in each and every one of us esp. Catholics! And yes, I’m one of them! We need to get off our Obama look-alikes and re-set this country straight (in both contexts of the word!). This IS a Christian nation! But it won’t be for long if we sit here and don’t do the right thing!!!

Sometimes my brain flashes wonderful visuals. By accident Biden, Pelosi, Boxer, Kerry and other Democratic Catholics end up in the same parish. The call for communion comes. In all their arrogant, self-important stature, the parade forward with other parishioners. The Priest says a blessing and small prayer for them and refuses communion. Yes..I am smiling largely at that visual!

  It’s about time that someone took these cafeteria Catholics to task! I can picture Pelosi marching down the church aisle for all to note her love for her religion. what a hypocrite ! Pope Francis is right to ban her, and the other in name only Catholics from the Sacrament of Holy Communion, for their condoning the murder of innocent babies by abortion, which is a sin, and against the Catholic Church’s teachings. Not one of these so called Catholics spoke against Obama’s disdain for the church when he told Catholic Leaders, they had to abide by his Obama care horror, even though it was against the Church’s doctrine.

    I have no idea how the Catholic Church handles members who profess to be adherents but are really amoral atheists, but it seems to me that NO “loyal” fascist-democrap could possible be a real Catholic. I guess when Civil War II starts, we’ll find out.

Thank God for Pope Francis. We need a good house cleaning and Francis doesn’t look like he’s going to put up with the rats just because they’re wearing Ralph Lauren or Gucci.

The Protestant churches ought to be teaching and preaching the same Holy Bible position on SIN, to include the snuffing out of the lives of America’s unwanted little ones and homosexual marriage. Of course they could proced further with biblical condemnation of fornication, adultery, lying, cheating, using God’s Holy Name in vain and on and on. There’s much room for improvement all around for all churches…

    Hello – I too am an independent Baptist, and, unfortunately, I’m starting to see some slippage here as well. It sure ain’t like it used to be in the old time fundamentalist Baptist church, nevertheless, it’s still one of the remaining few that still stick by the stuff. The only other so-called Protestant church that I’m yet aware of that still preaches the Cross faithfully and with a call to right living is the old time Pentecostal church, where, of course, we have a few doctrinal differences. Nevertheless, we’re among the brethren when we deal with such folks. Whoever and wherever you are God bless you…
