I find nothing more fascinating than people, who are seemingly intelligent, interminably scratching their heads concerning something despite the glaring facts/answers burning holes into their retinas. A myopia or blindness that causes an intellectual paralysis to truth.
 
And that explains the Liberals/Progressives of this world … especially concerning the nature of Islam.
 
Since the Islamic attacks of 9-11 (yes, I said Islamic), many in Liberal media, academia and politics have been puzzled as to why these barbarians slaughtered 3,000 innocent Americans. As if Islam was new to this planet, these geniuses mused endlessly regarding the causes of Quranically-dictated hate taken to it’s expected end. And still, after almost 12 years … they are intentionally blind to the facts…
 
Here are just a few simple facts/truth about Islam (gleaned from Islamic scholars):

– The word Islam means “submission”. (Some Muslims will disingenuously tell you it means “peace”, but what they are saying is: If you submit, there will be peace.)
– Islam’s prophet Muhammed was not a man of peace, but rather … by historical record … a bloodthirsty barbarian who propagated Islam by the sword. He himself led 72 bloody campaigns to spread Islam. He was personally responsible for the beheading of the last remaining tribe of Jews in Medina: the Qurayza tribe. He participated in the beheading of 600-800 men, enslaved all the women and children (all but one woman, which he beheaded as an example).
– Ibn Ishaq, Muhammed’s earliest biographer, quotes Quran 2:193 and explained that it commands much more than defensive warfare: Muslims must fight until “the religion is God’s”… that is, until Allah alone is worshipped. This is NOT dispensational.

The empirical evidence is overwhelming. Muslims who become devout … cannot be peaceful, by the Quran’s dictates.
 
And to add to the above facts, here’s a study…
 
A German Criminologist, Christian Pfeiffer, did an intricate study to understand violence being prevalent among young devout (those that follow the Quran and Hadith [traditions of the prophet] faithfully) Muslims. Pfeiffer interviewed 45,000 young people. His conclusion was striking (only to those duped by the erroneous public discourse on Islam): The more devoutly religious young Muslims in Germany were, the more crimes (like robbery and violence) they committed. This was in sharp contrast to young people of other faiths like Christianity. The more devout young Christians were, the fewer crimes they committed. These correlations remained valid even after taking every other variable, like socio-economic status, parents’ education level, etc. into account.
 
In other words, Islam actually encourages and inspires its devout adherents to commit violence.
 
And yet Liberals continue in their conundrum … so, when it comes to these self-proclaimed Progressives, the old proverb (by John Heywood in 1546) is true: “There are none so blind as those who will not see.”
 
And it just might be, that what Liberals refuse to see, might inspire the death of you and me.
