The Gospel According to St. Bill O’Reilly

The Word of God most certainly is a compelling argument against permitting homosexuals to marry.

Wake up, Bill!

If the words of Scripture are so inadequate for modern political discourse, then why did O’Reilly choose to publish an entire book about the killing of Christ?

As a dedicated Capitalist, I am delighted that Mr. O’Reilly has profited mightily from his books on Killing Lincoln and Killing Kennedy. Apparently, the same man who readily dismisses the words of the Lord in all matters of politics thinks the Messiah’s crucifixion is too lucrative a subject to ignore
It only serves to reveal O’Reilly’s deep inconsistency and utter hypocrisy.

Despite his great education, O’Reilly appears to be a man who is ever learning but never coming to a knowledge of the truth.

When He was but a youth, the Words of Christ astounded and humbled the learned doctors and lawyers. As Jesus grew, His wisdom both angered and embarrassed the religious and political leaders, ultimately leading to his death.

The words of Scripture have inspired great paintings, sculptures, and renowned works of literature. Our laws and the words in our founding documents have their origins in Scripture.

Despite the cries of those who wish to remove all matters of faith from the public square, America was founded on Christianity and the Word of God.

And if Mr. O’Reilly needs any further proof of this fact, I would gladly recommend my book, America’s History Is His Story.

You would think a man who constantly reminds us of his Catholic upbringing wouldn’t be so openly hostile to the Word of God.

If people like O’Reilly succeed in removing the Bible from public debate, then society will no longer have any acceptable standard upon which they might determine those things which are right and wrong.

Ultimately, the most compelling arguments regarding the subject of marriage are those that have their basis in Scripture, in history, in tradition, and in the true elevation of society.

But at the same time O’Reilly insists the Savior’s words hold no sway in America’s political discourse, he still plunges ahead on Killing Jesus!
