What is truly terrifying is that Sarah Hall Ingram, who headed the tax exempt division at the IRS, has now been REWARDED with a new position, in charge of enforcing Obamacare. Great, now if you oppose Obama, your healthcare is at stake. Conservative? No test/medication/surgery for you!
AP: The DOJ has been stepping in it left and right, this time. Now they targeted the media. Weird, I know, given that the MSM can’t spin news fast enough for Obama. The DOJ obtained lists of outgoing calls for 20 separate phone lines assigned to AP and its journalists in April and May of 2012. Holder refused to give any explanation, but under his own Departmental rules, he had to be the one to sign off on the subpoenas. Their rules state that subpoenas are a last resort, and they had to be drawn as narrowly as possible. No one is releasing the subpoenas, reasons or anything else for that matter, citing an “ongoing criminal investigation.”
Fox News: Now in what appears to be more of the AP, or just an extension of it, three Fox News employees, 2 reporters James Rosen and William LaJeunesse and a producer are also being investigated by the DOJ. This time the DOJ obtained email records and followed Rosen through key card swipe records. All because he reported news about North Korean responses to UN sanctions. It is not criminal for reporters to report news given to them by sources, classified or not. It is specifically why there are reporter shield laws in place, and that pesky First Amendment. It is important to note that Rosen wasn’t charged with a crime, but was alleged to be committing one in the Application for Search Warrant.
Our most important rights as citizens are under attack. The First Amendment protects our right to free speech, free press and freedom of religion. In total, our Constitution guarantees our right to participate in government and to associate with the political group of our choice, without fear that the party in power will use governmental authority and thuggery to silence opposition. Last I checked, we aren’t Iran, China or North Korea.
The time has come to clean house… before it’s too late!
