Ever hear the one about the angry Muslim man? Probably not, because it’s not a joke. I am yet to see a photo or hear a story, historical or current, about Muslim men who were NOT angry. Screaming obscenities (well, I don’t speak Arabic but I believe I can be fairly certain that they’re not saying “all we need is love”, from their foaming mouths), holding placards with the chants: “Death to America”, “Death to Israel”, “Death to Anyone who Slanders Islam”.
Looking for the heart of their anger and the essence of their hate? Look no further than their holy book…
From their early indoctrination centers (Madrassas) to their Friday prayers, to the adhan which is the call to prayer (Salah – ritual prayers) 5 times/day. They repeat, to a level of self-brainwashing, the very core and incitement of their anger.
Facts about the Quran and Hadiths that fuel the anger of Muslim men:
— There are 164 Jihad (holy war on infidels) verses in the Quran.
— There are hundreds of verses from the Hadiths (traditions of the prophet) that speak of hatred and violence toward non-Muslims.
— It’s the duty of every Muslim to engage in Jihad (holy war) with non-believers (this can be considered the Sixth Pillar of Islam) and is found in Surah 2:190-194, Surah Al-Baqarah.
But aside from the plethora of instruction for the Muslim man to hate … the ideology is a misogynist’s paradise.
The Muslim man is a mini ruler … he is the despot of his own castle … ruling (with a draconian fist) over his wife (like chattel to the Muslim man), who is only useful for feeding his needs/desires, as would a workhorse. His relationship with his wife further evidences his fury:
— Beating them if they disobey … and killing them if the man deems necessary.
— Micromanaging their (wives) every breath … because Muhammed said women are only worth half that of a man because of the deficiency of a woman’s mind, so they can’t possibly be trusted.
— Divorcing if they grow tired of their wives … after all, they are like a barn animal to be owned and disposed of, at will.
