Dear Christians: Abortion Is Not A Women’s Issue

Somehow, it seems the emasculation of the Church has been responsible for giving post-abortive women a sort of carte blanche toward their past. The Word of God is not a democracy, we do not change its message according to how many of our friends participate in sin, even if that includes ourselves. We cannot tell a half-truth and expect anything to change. Abortion is murder, and those who participate in it are murderers who deserve justice both temporally and eternally. Stop letting the culture dictate your view on such a horrific act of violence. When the Church begins to take this seriously we will see a new generation rise up that will fear an abortion as much as they fear stabbing a family member in the heart.

get-attachmentThe Only One that can wash away your pain and your guilt of committing this brutal crime against such an innocent being is Christ Jesus. He took on God’s wrath so that you may live life and life abundantly. Run from this adulterous and sinful generation to the One that can save your soul.

In summation, I believe it is absolutely shameful that while protestors of abortion, sidewalk counselors, and picketers (not the Westboro-type fringe) are hoping to see these women snatched from the flames, crisis pregnancy centers have absolutely refused to work with them. I have worked on both sides of the spectrum and I believe both are absolutely necessary. While you need the women’s clinics to step in and give a woman counseling and prayer and relationship, you also need folks out there to hold up the banner and say “this is wrong, this is murder.” It is because of that controversial statement that women’s clinics refuse to be associated with them, and I believe that is absolutely detrimental to the ultimate abolishing of human abortion.
