The Beta Males of the World and the Women Who Love Them
Then we have the notorious “Client Nine”, aka former disgraced governor of New York, Elliott Spitzer. This man is the true dregs that cling to the bottom of any garbage can and yet there he is looking for redemption. This is also known as: I don’t care what I did. I want power back.
Meanwhile, the Democrats in San Diego County are split down the middle if Filner should resign and Spitzer is running for New York City Comptroller. The disturbing thing about these two men is that, like Weiner, they’ll get away with it. Their supporters will not hold them accountable. And Spitzer’s wife is still with him but for the moment. Mrs. Spitzer may be the only woman listed here that actually walks away from her freaky spouse. We shall see. I remain cynical.
Contrast all of this with the downfall of Mark Sanford, Republican Governor of South Carolina. And his wife Jenny Sanford, a power house of a woman walked away from him and did not excuse his bizarre behavior. He had to take responsibility for his actions. What he did was monumentally stupid and he paid for it by losing his governorship and the respect he’d had before the whole fiasco of his cheating scandal was exposed.
He’s a member of the US House of Representatives but nothing more now. People forgave him but the party will never truly come back. We know his kind. He’s in a box and that’s precisely where he belongs. Anyone see a difference? We expect more from our political leaders on the side of the right.
So the question why these so called perfect feminist icons stay with these beta males goes to the fact their ideology may trump self-respect. Look at Hillary Clinton. She has no idea what she really looks like or she does and she’s so obsessed with power she doesn’t care and her supporters say they don’t care.
Bill’s sleazy behavior is the large elephant in any room she enters in and yet the left forgives or ignores. Or even worse she’s their example of strong feminist ideal. So one could start to believe the feminist movement is a big lie and these women who enable these over sexed wee-men are nothing more than ambitious political hacks who really don’t believe a word of what they say they believe. Its time women started seeing these women not as heroes but as frauds, because they prove they’re frauds every day.
