What about if the church stop publisizes what they are doing with ex-porn stars and start doing their jobs as far as stopping our tyrannical government from forcing Islam in our schools and in our government.
What about in the laws that this country is passing?
What are the churches doing about that?
They stand at the street corners and show just how holy they are but inside they are corrupt organization that are worried about losing their 501 C status.
They are busy building their own kingdoms instead of the kingdom of God.

She has repented and taken JESUS and our great Lord GOD as her savior and has been accepted just as anyone can. My best wishes and prayers for her. Maybe this might get a few more to leave the demeaning industry.

I’m sure you just misspoke, and used that cliche that we all use in our culture when we’re happy for other people’s transformation, but just in case an unsaved person reads your comment let them know accurately what happened to Ms. Ruiz: nobody “finds their [own] way out”… God calls them, and delivers them. It’s 100% God’s doing — 0% man’s (woman’s) effort. We have nothing whatsoever to do with our salvation. We are all hopeless in our flesh… so ALL THANKS BE TO GOD… who in His AMAZING GRACE… chooses to save ANY of us wrenched sinners!

Actually it is her excercising her free will, which is given to all of us by God, the choice to answer His call falls to us. Many will be called, few will answer. And in essence she did find The Way out, since Jesus is The Way. Yes we are saved by grace, but we must make the choice to embrace that grace, not by works but by faith alone. Your view eliminates the need for choice, we must make the CHOICE to accept His grace. It is there and free to all who will accept it, but He stands at the door and knocks, many will refuse to answer that door.

Many are called, but the CHOSEN are few Mt 22:14. Please read your bible more carefully sister. Do you mistakenly think she was “smarter” or more “intelligent” than the other girls in her trade?? Maybe she got “lucky” and the right person shared the gospel with herr at the right time..?? See, nobody comes to God by their own “free will” so that none can boast. Saying she did something to earn salvation goes against the whole gospel! Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES, it is a GIFT of God; not a result of works (works would be bringing yourself to Jesus) so that NO ONE MAY BOAST.

Do me a favor before responding… do a search for the words chosen, elect, and predestined in the bible. You’ll see things like… well, I’ll just put a few here for you. Please at least scan a few.

1Cor 1:29 By HIS doing you are in Christ Jesus….
Jn 6:37 (Jesus speaking) All those the Father has given me will come..
Rom 8:29 For those whom He foreknew, He also PREDESTINED to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers; and these whom He PREDESTINED, He also CALLED; and these whom He CALLED, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
2 Thes 2:13 But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has CHOSEN you from the beginning for salvation…
Rev 17:14 …and those who are with Him are the CALLED and CHOSEN and faithful.
Eph 1:3 He PREDESTINED us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will.

    Jn 13:18 (Jesus speaking)I know the one’s I have CHOSEN…

There are many more. After salvation.. then you can do good works. Oh yeah, those are predestined for us to do too :) Eph 2:10 ALL GLORY TO GOD!!

I stand by what I wrote. To quote the Bible out of context is a tool of many false believers and preachers. That fact is yes we are saved by Grace, we honor God through Faith and we justify that faith through works. All are sinners before and after salvation and No, no one gets to boast of anything. All glory is God’s. God intended for ALL to be saved through Christ’s death on the cross, but the fact is not all will be. We must choose to accept that gift. Do we get to boast of it … NO. But we are to use our conversion a a witness to others. Using your logic we should all just sit back and wait for death, since all those chosen are already saved there is no need to witness and be Jesus to others. Well, then why was Jesus last instruction to His disciples The Great Commission ? Why then was there a need for the apostles at all ? To quote The Bible out of context and pervert its message is blasphemy.

I stand by what God wrote. Nothing is out of context. Would you like the full chapters? Its not a problem. I’m trying to correct you with The Word because I think you are sincere but haven’t eaten spiritual meat, but if you still want to write me off then I can’t stop you. If you or anyone who comes across this message can… please point out one of the deceptions you’re accusing me of.
First thing, I WILL CONCEDE THAT THERE ARE PLENTY OF SCRIPTURES TO BACK UP YOUR BELIEFS. One that just came to mind is: “small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to life, and few there be that FIND it.” Mt 7:14 There are many more too, I know, but I have studied this topic a looong time, and I believe the side I am taking is the weightier one… that is … that God is sovereign over every little thing! You are what is called an Armenian by the way. You probably didn’t know, but there has been a debate between our beliefs for a while and Calvinists almost always win in my opinion because of scripture. Armenians are mostly led by feelings and logic, not by the actual Word. We walk by faith by the way too, not by sight… I might substitute logic there for you. That’s a lot different than changing “God will CHOOSE few” to “few will ANSWER God”!
Saying I perverted something is a cop out.. especially when you don’t cite even one thing. The fact is I wrote what is in the bible.. you can argue with that if you want… but you are the one that twisted the one scripture you quoted by saying “many are called but few will ‘answer’”. That’s flat out not what The Lord said or meant.

The “Great Commission” is a commandment. Much like how we are instructed to be baptized, we obey the the command to “go and make disciples” because we are told to… not because of the “logic” behind it. I find I am also ‘compelled’ to teach and preach by the Holy Spirit… Who is the true “sole winner”. Armenians are always concerned with their sole winning numbers and what they’ve done for Christ. Fact is, you can’t force, or convince with your brilliance, anyone to convert.
The parable of “The dividing of the sheep and the goats” comes to mind when I think about your beliefs. You might want to check that out.
You see, God CHOSE us Christians before even the creation of the world! Eph 1:4 and He knew us before we were born. Jer 1:5 But on the day of the division of the sheep and the goats many will brag about all the things they have done in Jesus name, but The Lord will tell them “I never knew you, depart from me”. This is a bad paraphrase I know, but the message’s essence is there. Just something to think about.

I am a Lutheran, and yes both sides have debate these issues for hundreds of years. I stand by my faith. And “NO!!!” I am not compelled to boast of my works, or soul winning abilities. So your assertion on that is offensive to me on EVERY level. What I find most telling in your reply is that YOUR arrogance betrays you in your own words.
“First thing, I WILL CONCEDE THAT THERE ARE PLENTY OF SCRIPTURES TO BACK UP YOUR BELIEFS. I may be, but I am ok with that. I am comfortable with my faith and my deep personal relationship with my Lord. I have the gift of discernment through The Holy Spirit. He has revealed Himself to me many times in my life. He has literally saved me from very dangerous situations, He has also let me know He is pleased with me. I take Him at His Word when He says to not be afraid when being called to witness for Him, that He will give us the words we need to speak His truths. I choose to not lean on my own understanding of things, but rather to trust in Him.

I never at any time boasted of the use of any “brliilance, force or ability to convnce” anyone, The Holy Spirit alone convicts a person of their own need for God’s Grace. But I do believe that God , through The Holy Spirit , does give us the correct words to speak to a person. I find anytime I have been the least bit effective at convincing someone that perhaps they should consider turning to The Lord, the words were not my own, but rather were given to me. I take no credit, and I ALWAYS make that very clear. I am not worthy to claim that type of power, but I do have that type of faith.

It is clear we have our own beliefs and neither of us is going to settle theological arguments that have existed for centuries. I wish you nothing but the very best.

Amen. That was good! “The Holy Spirit alone convicts a person of their own need for God’s Grace.” Back to the original point though.. I’m glad God called the woman out of a life of sin. I know that there is no good in me at all naturally.
It’s nice to have a reasonable discussion and still be family in Jesus. There’s a lot of things to agree to disagree on, and still absolutely agree that Jesus is Lord. For instance, the Steelers suck, go Cowboys! J/k lol. I’m from Texas ;)

Sorry if I came across as arrogant, I’m just arrogant about God’s abilities, not man’s.
Peace and grace to you too!
