Modern Tragedy in Afghanistan
Got it. So we can kill you. We just can’t stop giving you contracts for services you won’t provide so that you have the money to purchase weapons to kill our service members.
So, we’re essentially helping to fund the enemy? Did we or did we not just close two dozen embassies and/or consulate offices because of an undisclosed threat by that very enemy? I presume it was to make the locations safer, to beef up security. Ironic, no?
Meanwhile, the administration continues to ride the coattails of what some are calling a false flag moment. All of the headlines are screaming kudos for the Obama administration and the quick, decisive action in closing these facilities. Even Senator Lindsey Graham got in on the praise-a-thon, “We’ve learned from Benghazi, thank God, and the administration is doing this right.”
Really? Are they doing the right thing or the most politically expedient thing? It’s only a month until September 11. Surely there ARE threats and likely credible ones. But isn’t it possible these embassy closings are nothing more than a Trojan horse; a distraction from the real plan? It’s too bad closing these facilities for a short period isn’t met with the same urgency as denying funding to the enemy.
It begs the question, who are the Greeks and who are the Trojans?
