RON PAUL ON CHRIS CHRISTIE: ‘I’m No Fan’, Christie No Different than Obama

Former Texas Rep. Ron Paul took to the Fox Business Network Monday to weigh in on the ongoing feud between his son, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

Fox anchor Neil Cavuto asked the Republican if it’s true he’s “not a fan” of Mr. Christie, to which he replied, “That would be safe to say.”

“I don’t like the bickering back and forth,” Mr. Paul said. “I think it was significant debate, one person blasting those of us who believe in liberty and saying you shouldn’t be that critical of the government, that is significant but still again two politicians going at it — I would much rather talk about why we should have a Fed or why we shouldn’t.”

Mr. Paul explained that he would not vote for the governor even if he was the Republican nominee.

“At this moment, he is not going to have a change of heart, he is a big government person, it would be similar to the last go-around. I couldn’t endorse our candidate. I want to change things, I don’t think we are doing well.”

Mr. Paul prepared to launch the Ron Paul Channel, an online news network that goes live Monday, featuring all original content and audience-driven interactive technology.
