The Good Professor Instructs: Die, NRA Kids, Die!

I thought liberals were happy hippies. I thought they loved everyone and just wanted to get along, feed the poor, and live on government stuff. I even thought they wanted to be at peace and harmony with all the creatures of the world. I guess not, at least not a liberal anti-gun Journalism Professor from the University of Kansas. David Guth is his name and he’s pretty darn angry. I’m sure his anger and opinion won’t seep into his classroom. He is a college professor charged with teaching the young adults of America how to be good journalists. That might explain a little about the state of our media.

Recently, he stated his rage and anger to the public after the Navy Yard shooting. He tweeted: “The blood is on the hands of the #NRA, Next time, let it be YOUR sons and daughters. Shame on you. May God d**n you.”

When confronted about his brash Tweet, the sweet and gentile fellow continued: “Hell no, hell no, I do not regret that Tweet. I don’t take it back one bit.” So I guess we should assume that he believes in God, since Mr. Guth called upon His name. Mr. Guth is hoping that NRA members be damned to hell and their children be slaughtered. Oh my! Take a deep breath, Mr. Guth, this too shall pass. Come on, focus, and try to find your center or whatever you do.

Here is one last gem from Mr. Guth: “I don’t wish what happened today on anyone. But if it does happen again – and it likely will – may it happen to those misguided miscreants who suggest that today’s death toll at the Navy Yard would have been lower if the employees there were allowed to pack heat.”

Sounds like the perfect guy to teach journalism. Gone are the days of disagreeing with someone and going our separate ways in respect. My Dad and his liberal friend used to sit around sipping adult beverages, smoking cigars, and arguing the points of the day. One was a liberal, one a conservative, but they remained lifelong friends. Mr. Guth and some liberals like him have left the peace-loving reservation. No more agreeing to disagree and all that silliness. It’s time to unveil the liberal anger that’s been simmering, no festering, for a long time. Maybe it stems from President Obama and all these liberals marching to war drums in Washington. Maybe it’s the new-found war monger Secretary of State Kerry and his desire to bomb Syria that’s got these pacifists all stirred up and calling for blood and damnation.

As a Life Member of the NRA and being of the mindset that at least the military personnel should have been packing heat at the Navy Yard … I guess it’s my children that Mr. Guth wants murdered next time, oh yeah, and me he wants sent to eternal hellfire. Really? That’s interesting, because I have nothing against Mr. Guth or his children, if he has any. I also don’t really concern myself with God’s judgment of his soul. I am glad he’s free to say this trash in our somewhat-still-free-country. However, is the fact that we disagree on how to bring mass shootings to an end reason to call for the murder of my children?

I find this troubling to say the least. How many liberals feel like this? Is he a freaky fringe sort of Democrat or not? He has a respectable job teaching our youths. Do the students in his class feel safe? I mean the statistical chance that some of his students are children of NRA members is pretty high. Especially given that this is Kansas and NRA membership is soaring. Are those students safe to be around this miscreant of a teacher? Do they need to pack heat in his class to be safe from his death wish for them? Is this a “red flag”? Should we put Mr. Guth on a watch list? What if he goes and legally buys a shotgun this weekend? What if he is hearing voices that say “God’s justice takes many forms,” oh wait … that was another quote from Mr. Guth himself. Will we look back and say, we should have seen the signs?

Should concerned parents be pulling their NRA labeled children from his class? What’s to be done? Oh, I forgot, this is a college professor and a State University and he is speaking the approved journalistic storyline of our mainstream media, so absolutely nothing will be done!

Guys like this make me want to carry. Guys like this make me want to fight to allow our 18 to 20 year olds to have the right to carry on campuses. This guy is a lot scarier than the NRA or our children. He sounds about half a bubble from going postal! Most of us carry only to have the remote chance to return fire on a psycho and maybe save lives while most likely sacrificing our own. Is that crazy? This professor is the one wishing death on innocent children and damning adults who disagree with him to hell. Who’s crazy here? Kansas Journalism School … you should be proud.
