It seems like more than ever before in our history we are seeing a degradation and a severe unraveling of the moral fabric in our country that has always naturally guarded and protected life…specifically, for the liberals who are easily confused, I’m speaking of innocent human life.
I know that in this era of social media we hear about things more often and much faster than before. But, I don’t think anyone would argue with me that something terrible is happening in our country. Something awful and devastatingly sad to those of us who haven’t been influenced by this new low breed of liberalism.
As a mother of three precious children it is so hard for me to click on the headlines that scream “Newborn Baby Found In Trash Pile” and stories like this one:
A heartless Pennsylvania woman gave birth in a bar bathroom, and then left the helpless infant to die in a toilet while she watched pro wrestling and smoked a cigarette, authorities said…
A late-night cleaning crew found the infant’s body in a toilet tank at Starters Pub in Bethlehem, about 30 miles north of Philadelphia.
The premature baby was a few weeks premature, but still could have survived, authorities said.
But Hein allegedly put the newborn in a plastic garbage bag and stashed it in the toilet tank.
After giving birth, Hein allegedly smoked a cigarette and rejoined friends, gathered to watch the pay-per-view wrestling show “WWE SummerSlam.”
My heart bleeds when I read these as I know many of yours do. But, more importantly, we need to understand why this is happening. It was around this time in 2012 that the Democratic Party resoundingly voted to take God out of their platform. They booed Him and voted 3 times to have Him removed– right before they put Him back in after seeing the public backlash in response.
Most people would agree that they derive their moral authority from a higher power…whether you are a Christian or not…and without that higher power who is to say there IS a moral authority? At that point, everything becomes simply relevant…it’s a slow fade from black and white to various shades of gray.
For example, Democrats have become infamous for protecting the human rights of the scum of our society. They will vehemently protest to protect terrorists and murderers and throw themselves prostrate to protect the beautiful lives of fruit flies, gnats, and mosquitoes. In fact, maybe we should just begin calling those deaths of terrorists and murderers REALLY late term abortions- they would probably be more inclined to embrace the notion.
But, innocent human life is reviled by liberals…it is only barely relevant…it is reduced to being refuse in a toilet, stuffed into glass jars as mementos behind abortionists desk -and those of us who believe it to be precious are sneered at and diminished to being thrown into a faux “war on women.” That is their manifesto and their partners in crime, the mainstream media, repeats it over and over until it is believed and until many become afraid to speak out against it lest they be lumped in and also accused of being a foot soldier in this fake “war.”
Democrats have made abortion their altars of worship. Going so far this week as this:
Des Moines activist Midge Slater took the podium and spent five and a half minutes thanking God for abortion rights, abortion doctors and taxpayer funding for abortions. She also referred to the decision to have an abortion as “a blessing”.
During the entire prayer, State Senator Jack Hatch and Rep. Tyler Olson, both of whom are running for governor, kept their heads bowed and eyes closed, joining in the group prayer.
The Iowa Republican transcribed a bit of the prayer, which goes on for quite a while:
“We give thanks, oh Lord, for the doctors, both current and future, who provide quality abortion care.”
“We pray for increased financial support for low-income women to access contraception, abortion and childcare.”
“Today, we pray for women in developing nations, that they may know the power of self-determination. May they have access to employment, education, birth control and abortion.”
“Today we pray for the families who have chosen. May they know the blessing of choice.”
The painful annihilation of a human life has now been demonically altered into a “blessing of choice.“ Liberalism is a cesspool of death. It has turned us into participants of a modern day American holocaust with the blood of millions of tiny babies dripping from our hands. It is this that has us so devaluing life that mothers can leave their babies in toilets and walk away to smoke a cigarette and to watch a wrestling game without that natural craving to protect what is partly you. This natural instinct that makes the mother bear (warning: mine is fierce) come out in us when we feel something could potentially hurt our child has gone missing. And, it’s not altogether surprising because a new message has been sold in which wrong has become right and right has become wrong.
Women in this country are told over and over that what they are carrying inside them isn’t a life. That it’s their body, their choice. It is our responsibility to counter that by reminding them as often as possible that their bodies do not have 4 arms, 4 legs, 2 heads, 2 beating hearts, and 2 different DNA’s. We must not sellout to this death culture who would love for us to live in fear of speaking up and if we have any hope of not observing this moral fabric completely erode on our watch we must sell this message to our young people early and often!
