Stockholm Syndrome: America’s New Mental Disorder

Webster’s Dictionary defines the term Stockholm Syndrome as “the psychological tendency of a hostage to bond with, identify with, or sympathize with his or her captor.”

Mr. Obama spoke from Stockholm, Sweden this past Wednesday regarding the United States’ obligation for military intervention in Syria and the “credibility” of Congress and the rest of the world. As usual, Mr. Obama pointed fingers and shifted blame to all parties but himself, who, lest we forget, is the one who brought the Syrian civil war to America’s forefront, calling for action. The blame game never ends with this pitiful excuse of a man.

After hearing the usual spew of nonsense from his smirking face, I found it ironic that Mr. Obama gave this speech in Stockholm. Much like the mental disorder, America has opened its heart and highest office to an individual who has used and abused the American people, all while hailing that it’s in the best interest of the country and to carry on, paying no mind to what’s going on behind the curtain … or on the wiretapped lines.

He’s used his race, upbringing, background (which is questionable at best) and fake southern Black accent to win over those who don’t know any better — or don’t want to know any better. Once gaining the seal of approval and support from a majority of America’s clueless, he is then able to cater to his own needs, wants, and preferences —and you better not dare question it or you’re a racist.

This con artist and Manchurian president has managed to fool the American public into believing that scams such as Obamacare and increased gun control are the answer to America’s problems. No, more government is what’s rotting America from the inside out and the fact that the country is headed in economic, social, and moral decline is enough to prove it. And America keeps begging for more as she descends further into the depths of Socialism.

It’s hard to believe that the same Obama we heard in 2002 say that the Bush administration was “. . .[shoving] their own ideological agendas down our throats, irrespective of the costs in lives lost and in hardships borne . . .” is now pushing for a US military intervention in Syria, essentially backing terrorists. And what exactly does Obama think will happen after a US military intervention concludes?  The “rebels” will pack up and leave camp and Assad will suddenly turn into a just and compassionate leader?

Assad has already reported to the French news source Le Figaro that there will be “negative repercussions” to any strikes against Syria. So let me get this straight.  The Administration which failed to intervene on behalf of four Americans serving their country to die in Benghazi, is asking Congress to vote on military intervention in a Syrian civil war that is comprised of essentially two terrorist groups? Did I miss something? Are the anti-war sentiments Liberals had during the Bush era forgotten? Or has America developed a mental disorder which includes a bipolar mood swing and selective memory?

The Commander in Chief is on record blatantly lying about whether or not a “red line” was drawn with regard to Syria’s potential use of chemical weapons. Obama, we are listening and we are watching. Do not peg us as fools and treat your “fellow Americans” worse when we disagree with you than you would Muslim terrorists. If those in Congress had half the cajones as we Patriots, you’d get the pink slip a long time ago — yes, even after this war-supporting President received a Nobel Peace Prize.

America, your own “red line” was drawn a long time ago. Do you support a man who is using your freedom and the fruits of your labor to obtain his own selfish wants and needs and then hand you the bill? Do you choose to ignore the actions and words of a man who has stolen your money, children’s well-being, and the lives of those who serve and then turned around and blamed others? Did you vote for this a man a second time around because things weren’t “that” bad or you were afraid of being called a racist?

Do you identify with, or even worse, sympathize with your captor? You must because he uses, abuses, holds you captive by passing unconstitutional and un-American legislation, limiting your free speech, and imposing senseless regulations; and you continue to sympathize and support him, only perpetuating the vicious cycle.

Many have taken the fall for Obama for whom he refuses to do the same, and more will certainly continue to do so, that I can guarantee.
