I just heard Albert Hunt – a liberal leftist commentator on Bloomberg Radio – articulate the Democrat, anti-Republican strategy.
Frankly, I’m always amazed at how the Democrats and leftists sing off the same song sheet. The current tune is: the Republicans are leaderless – the Republicans are divided – the Republicans cannot agree on what they want – the Republicans are to blame for the deficit and the government shutdown – the Republicans are trying to deprive the poor of needed ObamaCare – and Obama was elected by the people to implement his entitlement agenda.
Al Hunt, of course, knows better, but he faithfully articulates the Democrat talking points and their strategy of smear, criticize and defile everything Republican.
The facts are that the President isn’t the only lawmaker elected by the people. In fact, the Republican Congressional victories in the past two elections (2010 and 2012) were historic and considerable. Congressmen and women were elected to represent the values and interests of their constituents – not to worship at the throne of King Obama.
The American system of divided government requires negotiations between the various branches. The Democrat’s and President Obama’s stated unwillingness to negotiate is contrary to the traditional American modus operandi.
Obama and the members of Congress took an oath to defend and protect the Constitution of the United States – not to replace it. Yet, the President and his colleagues in Congress and in his Administration and in the leftist media are intent on imposing an outdated, de facto Marxist/Socialist/radical-leftist centralized-government on the American people – in clear violation of the U.S. Constitution and their oath of office. To make matters worse, Obama has been exercising unprecedented and often unconstitutional autocratic power (executive orders) over the federal government and the people of the United States.
Thankfully, more and more citizens are becoming aware of what’s going on in the White House – in the Administration – and in the Dem controlled Senate – and have had enough! They will not permit the America-Way* to be corrupted by power-seeking quasi-Communists hiding under the umbrella of “Progressives.”
Five years of Obama/Pelosi/Reid’s failed leadership is enough! Their song is clearly out of tune!
