ACORN…IS THAT YOU?: Polling Machine Problems Happening In VA, Shaky Start
ASHBURN, VA — Voting at some polling places in Loudoun County got off to a shaky start this election day, as laptop computers in some precincts that are used to verify voters failed to network properly as the polls opened.
A spokeswoman told WMAL News this caused some delays, and that county IT personnel are troubleshooting the problem with some success. The problem appears to be with a certain brand of laptop – one of three used in the county.
