Last week I wrote an article titled, “Hey, Passive Gun-Owners, Shut Your Mouths and Turn in Your Firearms!” It was a mixture of a history lesson on gun-control in the early 1630’s Massachusetts Bay Colony and a commentary on the fact that we all need to stay vigilant and involved to keep our 2A rights.
I was surprised at the articles popularity. I know I shouldn’t have been. Everything I write is spectacular. Even so, I had not expected such a reception. It received by far more shares and likes than any article I’ve written recently. I was thrilled by the more than 80 comments on the piece. Usually, not too many people actually comment. Not so with this article. People felt motivated enough to put in their two-cents.
Those comments provided me with some serious laughter and created a glimpse into the minds of some Americans. On full display was the sentiment of the many rugged individualists that make up our melting pot.
Freedom loving patriots apparently abound across our beloved fruited and well-armed plain. America is truly a blessed Nation. Obviously, the boiling blood of patriots still festers in our veins. I doubt there is any other country that would respond as vehemently as Americans to the idea of being disarmed. Enjoy some of the comments below and God Bless America.
Some may read these comments with scorn or incredulity, maybe even disdain. Kind of like when liberals see Duck Dynasty or Nascar fans or guys wearing camo at the mall. They don’t get and it scares them. I understand there may be a level of insanity in some of the comments. Nonetheless, the people commenting are the kind you would do well to find yourself shoulder-to-shoulder with when all hell breaks loose. Sane, cautious, pensive, and un-armed individuals tend to die quickly. Give me a few good crazies in my foxhole any day. Follow the link to read last week’s article and all of the comments.

Yeah…..just come and take it. One bullet at a time. That’s all you’ll get. That’s all that’s needed. Snipers have a way with their weapons as you’ll see IF you try to take it.

There are several Million Vets who are armed, Hunt and target shoot. If they try for our Guns they will get them one shell at a time, and we are all very good shots.

There are over 100 Million Gun owners in this country and we are all unhappy with Washington, Probably at least half have served in the military at some time. We all took the same oath as Mr Obozzo only we believe in it and took it seriously.

The desire of those in power to Confiscate weapons shows that they still fear the people, and that is good. Obama’s and the rest of the socialists problems are that they failed to get the guns before starting their oppression of the people.
