Only one thing you must remember about Piers Morgan … http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/politics/3716151.stm

    • DJYahtzee

Yeah, wherever he lives, he tries to undermine the country. We already knew he’s a liar and a cheat. Unfortunately, liberals love liars and cheats as long as they echo the party playbook blather.

      • perry

he works for his master ,Satan, the UN

    • mac12sam12

What do you expect from a liberal?

    • Rattlerjake

Funny how England gets rid of him and we “accept” him. This piece of trash needs to be executed along with the rest of the libturd communists he sides with.

  • Shermer

Brett Lee in his prime was capable of 100mph deliveries. I played the game for 17 years of my adult life and I would never entertain the idea of facing him. Piers Morgan deserves credit for strapping on the pads.

    • Rattlerjake

Interesting how cricket has been around since the late 16th century and has never gained world wide acceptance. It is boring.

      • Shermer

We have an attention span of more than a couple of minutes, but never fear, there is a version of the game that resembles baseball for the impatient spectators. I’d suggest maybe you would like to face Brett Lee to get an idea of how boring it can be.
Did you know the first international match involved the USA and Canada?

  • larrygrant876

I guess it’s getting common to write headlines for an article to draw us in with glee and hope of some stimulating news only to be let down. The headline makes one think Piers Morgan got thumped but the video makes him a hero.

  • Dr Wood

One thing to remember about Morgan ……………. he’s an azz hole, the ball should have hit him hard enough to send him back to safe Britain.

    • ort

I was hoping the ball hit him hard enough to send him back to the hell he crawled out of.

      • Dr Wood

Sounds real good to me, his azz should have been fired a long time ago.

I’m so sick of people, especially so called conservatives, pushing books and information for money. A true PATRIOT would do what ever is necessary to get this information out to every American so they will be informed on what is going on. The Tea Party or Republican party should provide funds for this, it would be a much better use of the donations than the crap they waste it on. Making people pay for the information that is necessary for them to fight for America is taking a financial advantage from a crisis no different than jacking up gas prices in a shortage or lumber prices after a tornado/hurricane disaster, or how about ammo and gun prices skyrocketing over unconstitutional gun laws being implemented . Same goes for all of the medical people pedaling books on natural cures and what you need for better health for money, they are doctors and should tell us, not make us pay for it, besides we as taxpayers are paying for the research that they get their information from.

        zzzzzzZZZZZzzzzz

  • sovereigntyofone

” Oh, I say. Bit of a sticky wicket what?

  • Clem Cadiddlyhopper II

Piers Morgan has been disrespected by his all nationalities repeatedly……nobody wants him…..he’s too inept to pick up on that fact……he’s such an ***hole!!

    • Rattlerjake

From what I saw, Cricket is all about hitting the player has hard as you can with the ball. Now can we finish the job and use bricks?

  • regulus30

job is not complete, the pric666k is still breathing.

  • rappini pasta

They should make every liberal play this game.

  • Cheryl Lynn

The jabbering heads were tut-tutting Piers for moving and causing him to get slammed. Just stand there Piers…stop jumping out of the way, your jumping into the ball Old Chap. Piers is 47? He looks 67.

    • NymRod

I’m 10 years older than him and look younger than he does plus I’m in better condition as well.

      • Wayne Lunkwitz

I’m 2 years older that him, and I wouldn’t mind going one on one to see if he could match 25 push ups with me…..sorry , I think if he could “get down” after one he would need at least 2 men to lift his fat azz up off the ground!

  • mule man

I see the candy ass brit was hurting even with “body armor” -alaways has to be protectected doesnt he ?

  • Cheryl Lynn

I lived in 2 countries that played and loved cricket. These 3rd world countries had only one TV station, so if cricket is on that is it Ol’ Chap.. I was sick, cricket came on, so I thought…well I will give cricket a watch. I watched for about an hour thinking well, that was the whole game…quite dreadfully boring actually. It ended 1 to 2 or some dinky numbers like that. Later that week, the chit-chat was about the great match and all. I announced I had watched a whole cricket match and it was the most booring hour I had ever spent, even though they spoke English, I could not understand a word the announcers said and I still do not understand the game. Jaws dropped and everyone burst out laughing. I had just seen the highlights.. that particular game went on for days. I know how Obama feels when he calls his “favorite ballfield” (Comiskey Park) Cominski Field and bloviates about swimming and balance beams at this winter’s olympics. Only thing is, no one laughs outloud in his face…they cover it up.

      snore zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • ort

I was wishing he got hit in the mouth so he couldn’t utter another jackazz comment.
Ship his Limey butt back to Britain, and hopefully, a long prison sentence. I’m tired of him stinking up our shores.

  • g55rumpy

too bad he didn`t face satchel page or dizzy dean

  • Steve Czaja

Why does the pitcher need to run the 50 yard dash BEFORE each pitch? He can just stand there and throw it and the same speed. Baseball pitchers don’t run in from centerfield before each pitch. (I would have beaned the fool had I pitched.)
This and rugby-I have no clue- because English is actually about 5 different languages

    • Wayne Lunkwitz

British games are somewhat like ours …..but totally different

      • Bob Weber

        Lol. Hysterical.

      • Steve Czaja

        Yup that’s what I figured.
We , the Brits and the Aussies are a common people separated by a common language. I still call football- soccer. Cricket is “rounders” and rugby looks like a bunch of college guys after a pub visit. pounding each other for an hour or so.

      • greyghost69

Like horse shoes, and hand grenades!

    • Shermer

The bowler is not allowed to throw it, hence the runup, although one advantage is that it is an accepted part of the game to aim at the batsman, including occasionally his head.

      • Steve Czaja

If he’s not throwing it….why is it in his hands? that’s what you do with your hands and arms….throw things. and “running up” for a day or so might explain thirst afterwards and even the invention of the Pub.
And besides Piers being a twit what’s the point in hitting him? that makes the game go even longer..
interesting looking game but we Americans would have to change a few rules I’m afraid.
and fist fights would break out-often. Like a fist fight that suddenly becomes a hockey game.

  • Wayne Lunkwitz

One down two to go…..would love to see what they could do to …..Gordon Ramsey and Simon Cowell ….blow hard British a-holes for sure!

  • USCBIKER

At least he stood in and took the beating. Looks like crap for 48!

    • greyghost69

I’d kick his azz at 56yoa! It;’s a biker thing, most here wouldn’t get it.

  • francoamerian

I would give him a bigger round of applause if he would agree to get the hell out of our country.

  • http://www.facebook.com/sstephaniew stephanie wilson

i would’ve loved it if this jerk’s mouth were glued shut!

  • garyamusic .

What kind of ridicules game is that…………cricket………..only the brits could come up with that non-sense.

    • Lawrence Behr

It is not an easy game to play, the bowlers job is to hit the wickets or sticks behind the batter, the batter guards them, if the bowler hits the wickets the batter is out. The bowler is accompanied by fielders standing in a suitable arrangement as to arrest the ball if struck. The batters swing comes from the ground not from the waist like baseball , if he hits the ball with any distance he runs to the other base about 90 feet or so changing places wit the other batter, if he hits the ball in the air and caught the batter is out and is counted as an over, if the batter does not get to the base in time he can be tagged out by stepping on the base or tagged out in the lane,if the if the batter hits the ball out to the boundary line it counts as 4 if not caught, if the ball is hit past the boundary line or field of play it is six points, the ball can be hit in any direction the batter chooses. A 20 over game means each team gets 10 outs or overs, it is a relatively simple game.
And my hat is off to the bowler, that ball is rock hard!

      • garyamusic .

Thanks for the explanation! Now I kinda wish that the rock hard ball would have hit ol Piers in the head 4 times. Perhaps it would have knocked some sense into him.

        • Lawrence Behr

I have played the game Gary and even with the pads it still hurts, it would have been nice to see the bowler get one up at his head tho

          • Shermer

I’m glad you gave it a go Lawrence, but you must not have played for very long, because your explanation of the rules – and this is in no way meant to criticise you – was a bit all over the place. A lot of clubs have sprung up around North America, you should give it another try.

          • Steve Czaja

Had I been born in the British Empire-I surely would have played and then The rules would make sense. cheerio lads. God save the Queen.

      • greyghost69

Oh God, who cares!? The dip snit is still alive!

      • Mitchina

It seems the objective of the game has changed a bit – I did NOT see the bowler even trying to hit those posts the first three times… he meant to hit Pierce. Not we have England, America and Australia that obviously hate this guy. lol

        • Shermer

It doesn’t matter who you are or where you are from, any journalist who steps in front of a fast bowler gets the same treatment.

          • Mitchina

            lol

      • Shermer

You got off to a good start there Lawrence, but you then lost your way a bit. I will however, give you full credit for attempting to explain the game (I have to assume you knew very little about it before now.)

      • TJ Goforth

I still prefer baseball, all the players have a remarkable level of skill!

    • 2abner

well, looking at history, the brits are responsible for over half the olympic sports the world engages on..

      • garyamusic .

Distractions for the masses, keep the subjects entertained so they don’t hassle us.

  • sunhawg

If I want to throw balls at Piers Morgan, who do I have to kill to get on the list?

  • IrishPatriot

A few years ago on a comedy panel show in GB Piers Morgan was incredibly well put down by the editor or a satirical magazine called Private Eye. It was all over the internet at the time but today I cannot seem to find it anywhere apart from this tiny clip. Can it be that Morgan has so much power ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQr90AjKVtw

  • TJ Goforth

Sure glad America has baseball, this “game” is more like a shooting gallery – definitely
not my “cup of tea”! Come to think of it, neither is Piers the prissy!

  • Thomas Aquinas

On a related note, I’ve found this to be a steadfast beacon in the fog of illusions conjured up by today’s liberals and progressives: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0094KY878

He said he’s 48? He sure looks a lot OLDER!

    • S. Wicks Jr

For being 48 he sure still has a big MOUTH!
