Coat Hanger? Pro-Aborts Fashion De Juor

A coat hanger. That’s what’s trending on Twitchy right now. A small silver hanger, dangling from a necklace; and for a mere $10 a month to the DC Abortion Fund, it can be yours. The DCAF motto, “Her Rights Shouldn’t Depend on Her Wallet” apparently depends on yours. Not only can your ten-spot help murder an innocent life, now you can tell the world!

Maybe next month they can start sending donors the photograph and story of the woman they sponsored. Instead of “Feed the Children” we can call it “Enable the Irresponsible”.

I’d like to think the little donor gift from the DCAF was just some bad judgment call. Maybe it was a hoax or an ill-conceived Photoshop? Not so much. These little necklaces have been around for quite some time. A blog entitled “The Abortioneers” featured it in a May 30, 2012 piece.

I’m not sure that the coat hanger was the preferred method of self-induced abortion or if it was even that common, but it was gruesome. I mean, can you even imagine? Your cervix gets the heebie-jeebies from a mere cotton swab! So when we invoke the coat hanger, it’s intended to a) scare the crap out of you so you don’t forget what it’s like when abortion is inaccessible, and b) remember the suffering and the sacrifice of those people who died for the opportunity to control their fertility. If I were one for blasphemy, I’d say it’s the pro-choice equivalent of a crucifix.

I generally don’t wield symbols. I have no tattoos, few bumper stickers, and even fewer politically motivated T-shirts. However, those that I do rock are all pro-choice. It’s what I believe in. It’s my religion.

The coat hanger, a not oft used method of abortion, is the symbol of the pro-choice movement because it’s a reminder that unregulated abortion is “gruesome” on the cervix. Indeed. If you think that’s bad, imagine the hell it invokes on the unborn life inside a woman. I’d think the very idea of a baby’s skull being crushed would give one the heebie-jeebies. Maybe it’s just me.

And if I’m reading this right, we now know what Jesus would do. Why, he’d wear a coat hanger. Because self-inflicted wounds to one’s cervix is totally the same as dying for the sins of all mankind by being tortured and nailed to a cross. It’s safe to say calling the pro-choice movement your “religion” is the very definition of blasphemy.

It’s odd. These women appear so concerned with maintaining “safe and available” abortions yet they’ve allowed the very symbol of “torture” they wear to happen time and time again. Dr. Kermit Gosnell was a monster. The atrocities that occurred in his abortion clinics are nothing less than sadistic. The pro-choice crowd never put up a fight to close him down, though. He performed abortions for well over thirty years. He also maimed countless women and was convicted of murdering at least one. ABC’s Terry Moran said of him, “Kermit Gosnell is probably the most successful serial killer in the history of the world.” It’s the agenda and talking points of the pro-choice crowd that helped him to thrive.

Where you see abortion access, others see monsters hiding behind a stethoscope in the name of money. Where you see a selfless advocate for women’s rights, others see a murderer. Where you see choices, others see death. Where you see the symbol of a movement, others see a crude reminder that nearly 56 million lives have been lost.
So pay homage to Margaret Sanger. Send in your blood money. Wear your hanger proudly.
At least I’ll know who to avoid.
