A Collection of Random Thoughts — Written on Restaurant Napkins.

The president should never stand in front of an American flag. He should stand in front of a Kenyan flag. He should be impeached, indicted, incarcerated. I heard an American veteran of the Afghan war say that “durka durka” is a generic cuss-word for Muslims. To me, just the word Muslim is a dirty word. David Brenner died recently, and for all his wit and humor, he pretty much remained the man-in-the-street, and for that I thank him. Someone explain to me how the top “spy” in the CIA, the post very much involved with the safety of this country, turns out to be a Muslim AND is not immediately fired? “Nothing astonishes men so much as common sense and plain dealing.”; that’s Ralph Waldo Emerson, a guy noted for HIS common sense. Common sense works, folks, you just have to try it, and apply it.

Duty. Honor. Courage. Do you really need to know more about our armed forces than that? Consider what this administration has done, and is doing, to that institution…decimating it physically, financially, and morally. The armed forces say “leave no one behind”, and what does the administration say? “What difference does it make?” We’re dishonoring our military every day, and those are the very people we’ll call on when trouble hits…and it will, somewhere, sometime. There’s so many Muslims in top-echelon posts in our government that I’m really surprised that they haven’t made Muslim holidays federal holidays, but I’m sure it’s coming. It has gotten so bad that when the president is on the TV, I mute it and I yell that he’s a liar, a Kenyan, and a fool. He can’t hear me but I’ll bet everyone in the neighborhood can.

To arms, to arms…the ATF is coming! Actually, it’s not just the ATF, it’s the IRS, the DOJ and any other armed agency they can throw in the mix. This administration is SO anti-gun you would not believe the stunts they are pulling. The Constitution? Nah, that doesn’t count anymore. The Bill of Rights? To the lefties, that’s just so much toilet tissue. Now, when I mention anti-gun people, or gun-control people, you MUST remember that it’s not really about the guns. It’s about our freedom. We’re losing bits of it every day and most of us don’t know and don’t care that it’s happening. So long as the government can give us “freebies”, the 51% that elected the current president, twice, is thrilled and they don’t want to upset the applecart, or whatever passes for that these days. We are rapidly nearing the point where there will be more people receiving money from the government, then there are people to pay for it.

“We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution,” and that’s from Abraham Lincoln. You remember him, the guy that freed the slaves, the guy that said a house divided against itself cannot stand, and that’s a reference to the “civil” war or the War Between The States, which I think is the preferred term now. Anyhow, Congress is, according to me, now comprised of about half-a-dozen statesmen, maybe a dozen patriots, and the rest are wusses. Congress has allowed, even condoned, the actions of the president, and a couple presidents prior to this one, to flout the Constitution by skipping the legislative branch and process. The president(s) blithely go ahead and write laws (the job of Congress), completely ignore the will of the people, jump into wars without consulting Congress, and do myriad other just-as-devious things.

When will the American people wake up, smell the rotteness emanating from Congress and Washington in general, and do something about it?

Oh…I’ve run out of napkins.
