Yes, America, God Shed His Grace on Thee – So Sing It!

It is easy to see why the liberal Left wants to erase from the American landscape our patriotic songs. Our national songs, once sung on every occasion, are acknowledgments of our Judeo-Christian dependence upon Creator God. America was looking to Him, not government, for meeting our every need. The songs express our thankfulness to God. These songs are literally prayers. Calling down blessings from above. Take a look at what generations now gone sang of this great nation.
The Star Spangled Banner (National Anthem)– part of last stance:
Praise the power that hath made, and preserved us a nation
Then conquer we must, when our cause is just,
and this be our motto: ” In God do we trust”.
America the Beautiful– God Shed His Grace on Thee — 4th stance:

God mend thine ev’ry flaw,
Confirm thy soul in self-control,
Thy Liberty in Law
My Country ‘Tis of Thee — 4th stance:
Our Fathers’ God to Thee,

Despite what our current President says: We are a Christian Nation, rooted in our Judeo heritage.
As you can see, God is faithful. Over the generations, in America, God did just what was asked of Him. He has always protected, prospered, and guided this great nation. Let us not cave to self-righteous liberal ideology. Keep the words of these songs burning in your hearts.
