In 2008 presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama ran on the unwavering promise that he would address the issue of protracted waiting periods faced by our veterans seeking medical attention at VA facilities.
In fact, the future Windbag-in-Chief stated that “no veteran should have to fill out 23-page claim to get, or wait months, even years, to get an appointment at the VA.”
But, of course–this was nothing more than another offering of sheer mendacity by a man that only cares about one thing–himself.
Truth is–Obama never addressed the problem because he has a profound disdain for our veterans. And, as a result–40 heroes have died under his command while waiting for much needed medical treatment.
That’s right: 40 heroes.
I can bore you with the minutiae concerning this most poignant issue–but since it’s Memorial Day (and you have an important parade to attend) I won’t tire you with all the details.
Just know this: Of the myriad lies that Obama has spewed from his poisonous tongue–this is the most egregious. Yes, even more egregious than “if you like your doctor, you can keep him.”
And just why is it more egregious? Because he lied to the individuals that risk their very lives to protect our constitutional freedoms and liberties. Individuals such as Marine Lance Cpl. Kyle Carpenter who–just four years ago–jumped on a grenade during a firefight in Afghanistan in order to save the lives of his fellow Marines.
Thankfully Carpenter survived–but the intrepid grunt will require many more tedious operations that can’t afford to be delayed due to Obama’s reckless disregard and blatant lies.
There are some who will read this and say the following: “How can you make the outrageous claim that Obama has a ‘profound disdain’ for our veterans?”
Well, the answer is very simple: Because–while cutting the vital military spending that provides our troops (and their families) with all they need–Obama has dramatically increased spending on social programs (think welfare and food stamps) in order to feed and clothe all the lazy bast*rds that voted for him.
Now that’s profound disdain.
And for that–my Memorial Day message to Barack Obama is–“You suck!”
