Conspiracy theories- there are a plethora of them out there. From alien invasions, to what happened on 9/11, there is no shortage of emotionally-charged beliefs that circulate like a funnel cloud among what is seen as the fringe right of society.
Years ago as a young teenage girl, I myself was a person filled with speculation, a skeptic, believing that just simply living in America meant that you were safe. That meant that our government would protect us to the furthest degree simply because we were Americans and nobody screwed with the USA. A nice warm and fuzzy thought filled with rainbows and butterflies that paints a perfect Norman Rockwell painting of yesteryear. Now, if your eyes are closed, consider yourself part of the Matrix; complacent in your everyday life as long as you can have your Starbucks, then rainbows and butterflies it is.
If you have been awakened abruptly from your years of slumber as if an atom bomb had descended upon your world, then congratulations, you are among the rare Warriors whom have begun to see the brutal truth. You are no longer part of the sheeple who walk around like a stepford wife eating the lie-based oatmeal for breakfast every day.
The United States military is designed to protect the Constitution and our country from foreign invaders on home soil and abroad. They are heavily armed and equipped with the latest weapons and technology to carry out any mission for such protection. This is reasonable and understandable to the general public. Americans have the right under the 2nd amendment of the constitution to exercise their right to bear arms. This was originally written as a foreseen need to protect yourself from all enemies, including the government. Patrick Henry wrote: “Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined.”
Our forefathers also knew that government should be limited, as Thomas Paine said, “The duty of a true Patriot is to protect his country from its government”.
Slowly, like a trickle of water from the faucet, Americans’ rights are being taken away. The government spies on us in our homes, when we cross the street, our social media profiles are hacked, and even when we talk on our cell phones our conversations are being listened to. We are ordinary citizens having our lives being invaded by the federal government. What are they listening for? What are they trying to find?
Something that struck me as very odd to say the least, is the fact that non-military branches of the United States government are buying up loads of weapons and bullets. In 2013, Mark Levin reported that according to reports, the Department of Homeland Security had purchased close to 2 billion rounds of ammunition. That’s enough bullets to shoot an American citizen 5 times with enough left over to carry out a domestic war if need be.
The Social Security Administration had given the excuse that their reasons for purchasing millions of rounds was for special agent weapons qualifications training. What does the Social Security Administration need armed officers for anyway? Does granny pose such a threat that they need to overcome the feeble and elderly by force?
On May 7th, the U.S. Department of Agriculture was seeking the “commercial acquisition of sub machine guns”. Submachine guns? What would the Department of Agriculture, whose job is to oversee everything related to our food supply, need with Sub machine guns? These aren’t just any run of the mill sub machine gun either. They have specific requests including “ambidextrous safety, semiautomatic or 2 round [bursts] trigger group, Tritium night sights front and rear, rails for attachment of flashlight (front under fore group) and scope (top rear), stock collapsible or folding,” and a “30 rd. capacity” magazine and to be lightweight with a sling. They are seeking companies to submit their information for consideration. Think about this rationally. What do these agencies need with high-powered firearms and ammunition? Do you buy the line that it is needed for training purposes? There is no feasible reason why any of these agencies would need that kind of firepower, if any.
More than ever before, Americans are beginning to question the government and what their real intentions are regarding its people. With all of the chatter that goes on in social media and new groups popping up every day that devote themselves to liberty and taking back our country, the federal government is worried. The words “liberties” and “freedom” have been tossed around in these circles more than ever before acting as a trigger awakening the bees’ hive.
The people have reached the breaking point regarding the government and are on the verge of a full-on revolution. A revolution to take back the country from the very villains that call themselves elected officials. This is what our government now fears: an uprising of the people when the economy is finally in complete collapse or when they come to take over every aspect of your life. This is preparation for the last implementation of government control over the people– brute force in the wake of what ultimately will be totalitarianism. This notion is happening right before the eyes of the free, with oppression being thrust upon them in near secrecy. Wake up, sheeple, Big Brother is alive and well and at your doorstep.
