Escape for Obama? The Race Card, Impeachment and Nixonian Missing Emails

America should have known better than to believe a Chicago-style politician who was in lock step with race-mongering preacher Rev. Jeremiah Wright and race baiting pastor extraordinaire Jesse Jackson. This unique coupling aligned well with his other compadre, domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, who conducted a campaign of bombing public buildings including police stations, the U.S. Capitol Building and even the Pentagon. He soon learned to use race and socialistic agitating as a weapon as well as a defense.

Now five years into his rocky, scandal-ridden presidency he has managed to succeed in becoming impervious to scandals of his own making by simply saying, “I didn’t know.” This type of simplistic defense has been embraced by the mainstream media with a vengeance while Obama continued to thumb his nose at Americans and especially conservatives and religious organizations.

Well, now the well of support by the political liberals on Capitol Hill may have run dry as well as his race card defense. The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., is turning up the fire underneath both the IRS and the White House over news that Lois Lerner’s computer crashed. She is the former head of the unit approving tax exemption status for organizations. The crash allegedly lost two years plus of emails.

This alleged loss of two years of emails bears an eerie similarity to the alleged 12 missing minutes from the Oval Office Watergate tapes of President Nixon. These tapes were used in part to bring about Watergate congressional hearings and impeachment charges. Obama is arrogant and defiant beyond Nixon’s wildest possible dreams, but he may be nailed this time, if the emails are recovered by the FBI and NSA.

Chairman Issa stressed, “this is proof their whole line about ‘losing’ e-mails in the targeting scandal was just one more attempted deception,” according to Fox. This is especially critical as it is proven that IRS officials destroyed evidence that was in violation of the Federal Records Act which prevented the FBI from having an attempt at viewing it.

Why is this important to Americans who have been subjected to lie after presidential lie that has piled up into a mountain of deceit? It is important because no American citizen, company or organization would ever be permitted to use the “Dog ate my homework” defense that is being perpetrated by the IRS. This lie is obvious on its face to even the most jaded liberal pundit, because it simply does not pass the smell test. Liberals in congress understand how it could backfire on them since President Nixon was ousted in part for his lying to the American people and congress.

Scandals that keep piling up one after the other at the Oval Office door begin to become indefensible. The Teflon is beginning to wear off Obama and could conceivably become his Achilles’ heel.

Americans, and as it turns out journalists, may forgive a lot of questionable presidential practices, just take President Bill Clinton and his affair with Monica Lewinsky. But using the IRS and then having the same “no-excuses allowed” attack dog agency attempt to avoid the obvious criminal conclusion does not fly for them and not for Obama. In addition, the fact that six of her close minions in Lerner’s office also had computer mishaps is beyond the pale of believability.

This not only smells like a cover up but it is a sloppy, unprofessional type cover up, especially in the age of NSA and FBI data mining techniques that can retrieve any lost emails with little or no effort.

So back to Obama, who has danced around any and all possible culpability until now: he is faced with two problems that can accelerate impeachment hearings. He, like Nixon, is being face with plummeting poll numbers. According to the most recent NBC/Wall Street Journal poll, 54 percent of those polled are saying they no longer feel the president “is able to lead the country and get the job done,” according to the Blaze. In effect the public is indicating that Obama’s presidency is becoming null and void. The race card defense has just about worn out its use.

Now is the time to strike while the iron is becoming red hot. The racial defense that many of Obama’s political sycophants have used since January 20, 2009 will not work any longer. Even black people in urban areas, like his home city of Chicago, aren’t buying his lies any longer. They fully understand what it means to have a person in the White House who is “styling and profiling” like Obama has done, but care not a lick about black unemployment, murder-rates shooting through the roof and education achievement nullified and dropping into the basement, during his administration.

The stars are beginning to align and for Obama; it only means one thing. It is time to begin lining up the movers and stop going on vacations, and begin your vacating. Impeachment should not be an option that is withheld against a president because of his race but used based upon his character and actions. Obama certainly is the character that this legal constitutional remedy was designed for.
