Treason, a Mother’s Grief and Jihad on the White House
A mother’s love runs ocean deep. The emotional connection a mother feels for her child begins when the little line in the window on the stick turns to a plus sign. Your heart and spirit fills with intense joy and love, more than a person could ever imagine possible. A mother’s love has the power to move mountains and change the course of history- and the bond formed can never be broken for eternity. Mothers and sons share a special relationship. They become a “mama’s boy”, with the image of mom encompassing all that is comforting in the place we call home.
A mother never stops trying to protect their bear cubs from harm. Even when they grow up, moms will always mother, giving advice (even if it’s not warranted) and worrying when their baby boys eventually leave the nest. If your son or daughter decides to join the military, it’s a day filled with joy, for how proud a mother must be that her beautiful child has chosen to serve their country. As I would imagine with all military families, there is worry of harm in the back of their minds. What if I get a call? A call that my son has been killed?
That is exactly the nightmare and unspeakable pain that Sondra Andrews had to go through. Her son 2nd Lt. Darryn Andrews was one of the six soldiers that were killed when their team went out to look for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl when it was realized he may had been captured. Through further investigations, it is more likely that Bergdahl had abandoned his post, a deserter, with it seemingly being because of his disgust for America. In an email to his parents on June 27, 2009 (he disappeared June 30 2009), Bowe wrote an email to his parents saying: “The future is too good to waste on lies. And life is way too short to care for the damnation of others, as well as to spend it helping fools with their ideas that are wrong. I have seen their ideas and I am ashamed to even be American. The horror of the self-righteous arrogance that they thrive in. It is all revolting”.
Clearly this “soldier” had no loyalty to his team or to America — can he even be called a soldier? Andrews didn’t even get the courtesy of knowing what happened to her son. The military had told the family that he died after he was killed trying to track down a top Taliban Fighter. She didn’t learn the truth until other soldiers whom her son served with, confirmed that their mission was to “rescue” Bergdahl.
The grieving mother said she is “very angry” that the family was not notified at all before they announced that Bergdahl had been rescued. She expressed her anguish saying : “They didn’t have enough respect for us to give us the consideration of letting us know, especially since Darryn was part of that mission, as a mother, you’re like, ‘what else have they not told us?’ ”
This kind of behavior, that ultimately falls on the back of none other than the America-hating, Muslim-sympathizing thug we call Obama, is not only expected; it’s typical. He’s a Commander-in-Chief who understands the meaning and thought that goes behind deserting a soldier for the greater good of the Islamic faith, with Benghazi being a fine example of his level of loyalty to our military and America.
These men that bravely and honorably paid the ultimate price trying to rescue what they knew as one of their own, are the ones that deserved a special conference at the White House. The “Rogue President” had the audacity to invite the deserters parents to the White House where his father, Robert Bergdahl, recited a phrase aimed at his son, that is featured in the Koran: “bismillah al-Raman al-Rahim”. This means, “in the name of God, the merciful, the compassionate”.
The quote should also be coupled with the actions of his deserting son’s remarks about America and what Robert tweeted (but later deleted), “I am still working to free all Guantanamo prisoners. God will repay for the death of every Afghan child, amen!”
He re-tweeted a news article that a Taliban representative had posted detailing how a militant Islamic group had attacked an American military base and killed 25 “cowardly troops”. His reasoning behind his obvious support for the terrorist group? He claims he follows a “bunch of Jihadis” because they are “great sources of information” and having “direct communications is the key to resolving conflict”.
After reading this tripe, one can safely assume that this man may have a man crush for one the largest terrorist groups in the world; and the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. The beard on Robert Bergdahl added that little added touch of “wanna-be part of the Taliban” factor as well.
As a dutiful Obama faithful, Susan Rice, United States Security Advisor, was quoted while making rounds on the Sunday talk show circuits saying that Bergdahl had served with “honor and distinction”. How about the word Treasonous? Isn’t this more accurate? Our soldiers who died trying to save this traitor will live in our memories as heroes.
To Sondra Andrews and the moms of every soldier in our military, please know that you don’t need recognition from Obama and his crony loyalists, because America stands with you. We honor your sons and daughters everyday and know the ultimate sacrifice they made so that my babies can be free. We will never forget them. Americans are wrapping their arms around you. From one mommy to another, thank you for your ultimate sacrifice. We love you and God Bless you.
