Wednesday, following a lengthy Congressional hearing, US Commissioner of Internal Revenue John A. Koskinen spoke with On the Record‘s Griff Jenkins.

“I want people to be comfortable that the IRS is simply the tax administrator, we’re not a political organization,” Koskinen said, pushing aside claims that the bureaucracy had intentionally targeted conservative organizations.
