Lots of Suffering: The Cruelty of Liberal Compassion

Liberals are the most compassionate people on the face of the earth. At least that’s what they want everyone to believe. Yet judging by what’s going on at the border, where hordes of poor, sick illegals, as well as gangs of individuals with evil intentions, continue to stream into the U.S., compassion for some means death and suffering for others.

But that’s usually how it works with those on the left; there is always a high body count associated with their good works. In the name of compassion for women, with liberal support and approval 3,000 unborn babies die a violent and painful death each and every day.

Now, extending love toward the children making the long trek from Central America to Texas is resulting in small corpses washing up on the banks of the Rio Grande. In the overall scheme of things though, rotting cadavers baking in the desert sun is to be expected when advancing an agenda that, despite what liberals say, has nothing to do with the wellbeing of children.

Dangerous journey and dead children aside, in response to Obama’s assurance of unlimited, lifelong government largesse, vagrants from south of the border are currently acting like pushy shoppers stampeding for big screen TVs on Black Friday.

Haven’t you noticed that Barack always seems to encourage the guilty at the expense of the innocent?

Remember when our new president prided himself as being so empathetic that he called waterboarding terrorists at Guantanamo Bay “torture?” As a result, America’s haughty leader extended a hand of humanity towards the same inhumane extremists that relish the thought of every American writhing in excruciating pain before being decapitated.

About waterboarding, Obama said this: “I believe that waterboarding was torture and, whatever legal rationales were used, it was a mistake.”

Now, six years after speaking those words the president is again placing the guilty ahead of American citizens. As a result, thanks to the policies of the guy who denounces torture when terrorists are the recipients, Americans are now poised to become the victims a far worse form of torture.

Barack Obama, the person who deemed waterboarding cruelty, is now exposing American citizens to a fate much worse than 14 seconds’ worth of national security interrogation.

In fact, the liberal crusader’s newest compassionate endeavor is to introduce, into the midst of a country without immunity, lethal contagions. If given a choice (which, by the way, Americans are not being given) between being infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis and waterboarding, most would likely choose the brief discomfort of waterboarding.

In 2009, Obama’s leftist sensibilities were offended by waterboarding terrorists, but isn’t being unable to breathe, suffering from chest pain, coughing up blood, and being left with lifelong liver inflammation far worse than waterboarding?

The impending torture about to be imposed on the people of this country proves that avoiding physical distress, pain, and even death is not the president’s intention – advancing liberal policy is!

Then again, maybe Barack Obama doesn’t realize that Latin America’s Changa disease is agonizing, especially when the parasite works its way through the blood of a human host and into the heart and the digestive muscles.

Hemorrhagic Ebola fever might be considered torture, especially when right before expiring, the victim bleeds from every orifice of the body. Bacterial pneumonia, which is what a young Border Agent has contracted while processing the objects of Obama’s current altruistic affection, causes crushing pain when trying to breathe; scabies delivers pus, pain and swelling; and pertussis sufferers are afflicted with severe chest, abdominal, and back pain.

All these torturous maladies are being imposed on a vulnerable American populace by a president purposely cultivating an epidemic in the name of empathy for Central American indigents.

As all liberals do, despite the havoc he’s causing, Barack views himself as the epitome of munificence. The problem is that the end result of his so-called charity usually results in the innocent being harmed by a political mindset whose philosophy benefits one group over another.

With liberals, choice takes precedence over the right to life; the poor take precedence over the rich and even the middle class, as well as government over the private sector, minorities over whites, terrorists over interrogators, traitors over patriots, the godless over the godly, welfare recipients over taxpayers, liberals over conservatives, and now gravely ill illegal immigrants over the health and wellbeing of susceptible American citizens.

Board-certified otolaryngologist Dr. Elaina George recognized the threat, and said that the “problem with this is that the government has no regard for us as American citizens.” Then Dr. George pointed out that “it’s all about winning at any cost and it’s political strategy without regard for health.”

Again, this president’s bureaucratic benevolence historically involves placing the needs of plunderers and terrorists above the safety of those being plundered and terrorized. As a result, for political expediency, Barack Obama’s purposeful immigration “reform” crisis is now poised to jeopardize the life of each and every American.

The disaster on the border proves that liberals view discriminatory spitefulness as goodwill, and Barack Obama views piles of corpses but a small price to pay to advance an agenda that has everything to do with cruelty and nothing to do with liberal compassion.
