RUSH LIMBAUGH Gives Waitress $4000 in Tips–the Bastard

On September 22, 2014, theĀ Dallas Morning News reportedĀ on the outrageous treatment experienced by former waitress turned novelist Merritt Tierce at the hands of the man who heads the evil right-wing cabal trying to destroy women’s access to health care, none other than Rush Limbaugh. It happened while Ms. Tierce was working at what is described as a “high-end Dallas steakhouse,” Nick & Sam’s. Here’s what happened:

Tierce waited on Limbaugh twice (both times he came in with Al Michaels, who was in town to call Cowboys games). Both times Limbaugh left her $2,000 tips on modest-size checks, once with twenty $100 bills.Ā  ā€œThat was like blood money to me,ā€ says Tierce, who does not share Limbaughā€™s social views.

Tierce was also executive director of the TEA Fund, which provides money to women who canā€™t afford to get abortions. (Sheā€™s still active in the abortion rights world; you can read her recent New York Times Op-Ed piece on the subjectĀ here). So she did the only logical thing with Limbaughā€™s cash. She donated a sizable chunk of it to the TEA Fund.

ā€œIt felt like laundering the money in a good way,ā€ she says. ā€œHeā€™s such an obvious target for any feminist or sane person. It was really bizarre to me that he gave me $2,000, and heā€™s evil incarnate in some ways.ā€

You see? Evil incarnate! Giving her $4000 in tips! The nerve of this guy to try to inflict his “blood money” on this poor woman, who, like the woman she admires very much, democrat candidate for Texas governor Wendy “Abortion Barbie” Davis has had two of the, shall we say, procedures herself. Thank goodness she could “launder” this ill-gotten lucre by giving it to a pro-abort group.

As she explains in the aforementionedĀ New York Times Op-Ed, the difference between her and Ms. Davis is that she’s not going to try to pander to anti-choice, knuckle-dragging mouth breathers by telling us that her abortions resulted from some arguable medical necessity like an ectopic pregnancy, or a tragically-disabled child in utero. It wasn’t like that. She just felt like it. Let me share her own words from theĀ op-ed, with my commentary in bold in the parenthetical remarks:

I had an abortion because we were poor and I was depressed and I didnā€™t know who the father was.Ā (Gee, maybe since you’re pro-choice, you should make more discriminating choices about with whom you hit the sheets. Could you narrow it down to a couple dozen potential fathers? No? Just saying ā€¦)

I had been having an affair.Ā (Wait, were you cheating on your husband? Or were you having sex with multiple boyfriends?Ā  I know we’re not supposed to take that into account. Be silent retro, anti-woman impulses!)

My kids were 2 and 3, and the debilitating morning sickness, which I experienced early in each of my pregnancies, made it difficult to work or care for two toddlers. (So, once again, maybe you might want to have considered that possibility before your dropped your pants?)

I got pregnant again soon after, but miscarried. A few years later I had another abortion because the man I was seeing was emotionally abusive. I had no control in that relationship, so I sabotaged my birth control to get some back.Ā (So in other words, you got pregnant ON PURPOSE even though you didn’t want to have a child with this man? I guess once you’ve killed one baby, what’s another one, right?)

The whole situation was a complete abscess. In spite of my awareness of our miserable present and inevitably doomed future, I didnā€™t really want to have an abortion. I wanted the man to love me or at least be forced to publicly acknowledge our relationship existed. But he didnā€™t want to have a baby with me, and I knew that having that baby would have been a terrible thing for my children. And for me.Ā (But you did it on purpose! Once again I find myself confused by feminist “logic.” It’s so great that you could allow this abusive man to use you, Merritt, confident that if he didn’t shape up, love you and acknowledge your relationship, you could rid yourself of the inconvenient tissue mass. You get used as a plaything, tossed aside, and he gets off scot-free! If you can give me a better definition of feminism, I’d like to see it. It’s a win-win!)

Lost in all the absurdity of a woman who has killed two unborn children, referring to money earned by a man talking on the radio as “blood money”, is what the episode actually reveals; specifically, that unlike many liberals, Rush Limbaugh is generous. Like many conservatives, even those who are not fabulously wealthy, he voluntarily shares what he has with those less fortunate than he. What a contrast with the behavior of phony, wealthy liberals, likeĀ Sean PennĀ (reportedly left no tip on a $450 check),,Ā Tiger WoodsĀ (claims he doesn’t tip because he doesn’t carry cash, and allegedly repocketed $5 meant for a waitress because he had tipped her earlier in the evening),Ā Barbra StreisandĀ (left a $10 tip for a $457 tab), or Facebook founderĀ Mark ZuckerbergĀ (no tip on a $40 check),

Rather than kindly over-tipping this ungrateful tramp, Rush should have given her a different kind of tip. Let me do it for him. Lady, perhaps if you want a man to “acknowledge” your “relationship,” you should keep your panties on until he shows you a wedding band.Ā
