Sen. Dianne Feinstein said Sunday she hasn’t settled on her political future, as rumors swirl that Michelle Obama is being urged to run for the California seat, should the veteran lawmaker retire.
“I have no idea what I’m going to be doing in 2018. That’s four years from now, and that’s one of the nice things about a six-year term,” Ms. Feinstein, the senior senator who has served in Washington since 1992, told CNN’s “State of the Union.”
She was responding to a report in Orbmagazine.com that said California is an ideal post-presidency home for the Obamas.
