ANNISE PARKER: Warring on Christians and Imposing Tyranny

Houston Mayor Annise Parker’s attack on the First Amendment rights of city pastors is unsurprising as sodomites and their fellow leftists are in the midst of a coordinated war on Christianity throughout the nation, with the end game being a tyranny that most Americans can’t imagine.

Parker began her attack by helping with a law that puts men into women’s restrooms and women into men’s restrooms. Some pastors fought back. Andrew Kloster of The Daily Signal summarized what happened:

To recap this sorry tale: a number of pastors helped organize a petition drive calling for a referendum to remove a new Houston law from the books that the pastors believe would allow men into women’s bathrooms, and vice versa.

The City refused to accept many of the signatures, and petition supporters filed a lawsuit seeking to have the issue placed on the ballot. But rather than investigate the validity of the signatures, the City of Houston responded by asking the pastors, who were not a part of the lawsuit, to turn over, among other things: “[a]ll speeches, presentations, or sermons related to [the bathroom ordinance], the Petition, Mayor Annise Parker, homosexuality, or gender identity.”

Parker and her fellow leftists currently are rewording the subpoenas but they are still going after the pastors. After all, they are leftists and they fight for their beliefs. And this fight is part of a larger war against Christianity they have long been waging. Parker’s attack on Houston Christians is simply the latest phase of it—a phase that has been ongoing at least since the middle of this year.

IBD published an editorial in July explaining how the IRS is working with leftists to destroy Christianity by making moral issues “political” ones:

A lawsuit filed by the Wisconsin-based Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) asserted that the Internal Revenue Service ignored complaints about churches’ violating their tax-exempt status by routinely promoting political issues, legislation and candidates from the pulpit.

The FFRF has temporarily withdrawn its suit in return for the IRS’s agreement to monitor sermons and homilies for proscribed speech that the foundation believes includes things like condemnation of gay marriage and criticism of ObamaCare for its contraceptive mandate.

Leftists believe themselves gods, and therefore they believe they have the authority to tell the Church that issues of life, marriage, and morality no longer are its domain; that the state now owns them. Thus, the FFRF can collude with the IRS to attack churches that speak on marriage and abortion. Thus, Parker and her operatives can do the same.

The end game for all this will be utter tyranny, particularly when sodomites are in power. A taste of this can be seen in a story that came out of France last year regarding pro-family supporters. Robert Oscar Lopez reported on it:

The images of a police force “defending” a city ruled by a gay Socialist mayor (Bertrand Delanoe), shooting tear gas at children, was worse than the imagery of Lt. Pike pepper-spraying college students in Davis, and worse, I would say, than the Jim Crow police force using dogs and water hoses on black children during the famous protests led by Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. Why do I say it was worse? Look at the number of people, the sheer quantity of riot police, and the closeness of the tear gas, which is a seriously aggressive chemical agent.

The sodomite Annise Parker is not an anomaly in the leftist or sodomite movements. She is the true face of them. They are waging a war on Christianity. People can choose to deny it all they want but it won’t make it go away. Tyranny is here and it’s only going to get worse.
