Speaking on Fox News Channel’s “The Five” last night, Gutfeld called Krugman “Captain Crazy,” but said that he was right this time.
“Obama is indeed the most successful leftist ever at implementing progressive ideals,” Gutfeld said, “enabling a country to experience the consequences of unbridled government expansion and identity politics in its purest form.”
Among the achievements that Gutfeld cites as Obama’s most consequential are the expansion of the welfare state, the weakening of America’s international reputation, and, of course, the federalization of a huge chunk of the U.S. economy through Obamacare.
