More than 900 chickens were slaughtered during a robbery at a Foster Farms facility in California and police are looking for suspects.
Fresno County Sheriff’s Office reports that suspects entered the facility after pulling back part of a fence mid-morning on September 20.
The burglars entered the chicken shed and slaughtered 920 of them with golf clubs or other blunt objects, police say.
A deputy reportedly told the Los Angeles Times , “whoever did something like this is pretty sick. It would take a long time to do it…People should be alarmed at something like that.”
