Jimmy Williams of MSNBC said in an interview the other day that “old white people in the south who vote Republican are going to die someday and hopefully this will usher in a new era of Democratic ‘rule’ in the region.”
Hey, Jimmy, I got news for ya, old professors in the south, north, east and west, not to mention politicians and other leftist propaganda spreaders are also going to die. Let’s see, I just read Diane Feinstein is 81 and Barbara Boxer is 73 and only God knows just how old Nancy Pelosi truly is. The great thing for Democrats is they vote even after they’re dead!
But I do understand what Mr. Williams was trying to say and he’s right to be hopeful.
We are as a nation morally lost. Not all of us, thank God, but we’re well on our way. When the old Republicans do die, who do we have left to look up to? Who will guide us on the straight and narrow? Who will tell us about the Almighty and what our purpose here on earth might be?
We’re bombarded with stories about Lena Dunham and Ray Rice. Not to mention Eric Holder telling investigators they can kiss his backside.
These are our moral compasses, our bastions of civility and morality.
These three people have the same thing in common: not only did they abuse (Ray Rice abused his wife physically. Lena Dunham abused her sister and Eric Holder the American people) but, they are going to get away with it.
I heard on a movie last night that if a woman is abused, once she’s a victim, twice she’s an accomplice. Mrs. Rice will do nothing about her husband.
Lena Dunham’s sister was exploited when Lena told the world what she did to her; did she ask permission first?? Children are curious at this age, but Lena opened a can of worms she may not even understand.
And then Eric Holder, such a class act! Paid by the American tax payers to play out his own warped sense of judgment.
These acts are carried out by people who somehow got the message that they are above it all. I’m ok you’re ok. But what’s even worse, the victims allow it. Morality and decency is a two-way street.
Bill Clinton, Lois Lerner, Eric Holder and even Jimmy Williams can say or do whatever they like and never be held accountable. Their immorality and lawlessness is forced on us so that we become unwilling accomplices.
So you hang in there, Jimmy! You and your ilk are on the right track. Pretend there’s nothing wrong and soon all that’s wrong will in fact be nothing.
